Came in for lunch on a week day. There were 3 tables seated. Took two minutes for a staff member to acknowledge us before we were seated. I’ve personally never enjoyed Pho but their vegetable pho broth was amazing! Ordered the Spring rolls and a bahn mi sandwich to share along with the pho. Definitely recommend the chicken bahn mi sandwich!
If you are sharing the pho between two people the regular size is for you! We ordered the large because we’ve never been here before and took the rest home. It can feed I’d say four people.
If you’re looking for good pho in a relaxed environment this is the place to go! They have plenty of vegetarian options! They do get busy so make sure to order what you want when a server comes around the first time around!
I would not recommend ordering a drink unless it’s happy hour! My mojito was the same price as the bahn mi at $13’s!

1st time ever going here. I ordered the curry pho and chicken pho to go. Both were extremely tasty and fragrant. Was able to add extra meat we had from earlier in the week to the leftover broth. My mother enjoyed hers as well. Will absolutely be gong back to try other dishes.

The servers were kind and attentive throughout the evening on Valentines. They provided a free sherbet ice-cream to share with my date. We enjoyed the various appetizers on the happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. All the drinks are worth a try.

New to Ventura county. Coming from LA County, I needed to find a new Vietnamese restaurant. My husband and I really loved the amount of parking, the space inside the restaurant, and the ambiance. The music was delightful and their menu had a ton of hits! We didn’t know we arrived during happy hour but we’re happy to try it. The Fries were amazing! Never had such flavors on fries and I don’t think I can live with out them now! I also received a happy hour Chicken Pho and it was huge! My husband really appreciated their Vegetarian meat option of the “pork”, it was very good. Will definitely come back again!

This place is always packed but it’s the best in Camarillo so it’s totally worth it! A little unorganized sometimes but after being in the service industry for so long I can understand why. Soup is always great, big portions, offers a kids veggie option which is nice. Just wish they were open Sundays, that’s such a good soup day!

I have been coming to Basil and Mint for years and I always enjoy the pho. They have many other great entrees and soups. I enjoy the atmosphere and the bar has a great menu. They have separate room if you want to just get a drink. Basil and Mint also have a happy hour menu! I will definitely be back again!

First time here because we were visiting the Outlet mall nearby. Gave it a chance because most reviews were good but honestly had low expectations given the area (not many asian food nearby), none of the employees we saw were asian, the place was pretty empty at 4pm on a Saturday, and the decor and atmosphere was not the traditional asian restaurant (if you know what I mean). We also saw French fries on the menu which made us think this was definitely more fusion. We ordered the chicken pho, chicken and shrimp spring roll, street fries, combo rice plate with beef and pork. We ordered a lot of food because it was happy hour so we expected small portions. We were wrong. The portions are regular size, very filling and a great deal with the happy hour prices. To our surprise everything tasted quite delicious. The chicken pho was flavorful and chicken pieces was very tender. The grilled combo plate was tasty and well seasoned. The street fries really surprised us. Definitely didnt think hoison sauce and some aioli and black pepper could tast so good but it was very addictive and easily the favorite. The spring roll was very basic with meat, noodles and Lettuce. It did not come with peanut sauce, tasted like hoison sauce with peanuts but it was good given the happy hour price. Overall we were very surprised by the food which was much better than expected. Definitely not authentic but still a good take on it and worth the try! Service was not bad but nothing to rave about, they served us and got us what we needed which is fine with us, since we are pretty simple. I would recommend this place if you want vietnamese food and are around the area.

it was my first time here and i loved how cozy and nice this place was! staff were kind and i really appreciate the low ambience and lighting, i really hate bright over head lights so this felt very intimate and social at the same time. wasn’t there for the bar but their happy hour and drinks seem pretty ranged. their food was 100% the highlight of it all, i loved everything we ordered, definitely recommend the lime soda and fish sauce chicken wings ! their pho is super yummy too, a more clear and refreshing broth than others while their meats are fatty and tender, it’s a nice balance. officially a go to spot from now on
