Highly recommend! For both the excellent food & the amazing customer service!
Long story short, i paid for this order last Friday through Uber Eats, i cancelled it within one minute because of an incorrect charge, called the restaurant immediately.. Christine answered & was so kind and helpful as she explained how uber’s system works, unfortunately she could not deliver the meal since it was cancelled, but suggested I may talk to the owner on Monday; the owner gave me not a bit of grief, was kind and patient, & assured me he’d fulfill the order as long as i wasn’t refunded by uber.
Uber told him that i would get a refund which turned out to be false, they just sent an email to me then ghosted me so when i went in today, Gabriel took care of me no issue. Order fulfilled.
This was a hard fought dinner, but the wait was worth it! The chicken bites were hot buttery delicious, & the rest of the meal..dark meat, shack potatoes & onion rings were crisp & so good too! I’ll order direct from the store from now on, thank you for A++ customer service & food.

This is the first time ever in all my years of eating at the shack that my chicken wasn’t juicy and delicious and my potatoes weren’t buttery and plump. They were both dry. It was disappointing but I understand you can’t get it right 100% of the time. I will continue to frequent your restaurant because I love the food. Just not at this location.

I bought a chicken meal from the chicken shack on Mack and unfortunately my chicken was not completely cooked. I discovered this after I got home so didn’t want to drive all the way back. I did however call them to let them know my chicken was not cooked all the way through and they needed to be mindful of this with other customers.

Waited 40 mind for 4 bone dinner, ribs were cold when I received order. Plus the ribs were in pieces looking like pulled pork. Waited another 25 min for warm ribs, now potatoes cold. Staff had stank attitude. I promised them I would never patronize that business again.

The lady behind the counter has a seriously nasty attitude. Was straight up yelling at me and my daughter because I put the wrong number down on the order by accident. Why does that even matter? My order was paid online and I was on time to pick it up. I guess she calls to confirm all orders, but not even sure why. Please don’t talk to customers like they are dumb. My daughter cried after. Plus the restaurant is nasty. Sticky and dirty and table covered in crumbs. Walked out and my feet stuck to the pavement. Gross!! Food was absolutely incredible as always…just wish the service was better. Probably the best chicken and ribs around. Will be choosing a different location.

Honestly, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in the area. The service was just as bad—the lady taking orders in the back looked completely overwhelmed and mixed up orders for me and others. I only knew because when I got home, my order was completely wrong. By then it was too late to drive back and fix it.
Heads up to the leadership: your ordering process needs serious work. Customer service goes a long way—just greet people and smile, and you’re halfway there. As it stands, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

I placed a carry out order for my monthly club meeting. Only 8 members were able to attend so I ordered a 24 piece mixed barrel, 8-piece ribs and the large sides. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived there in about 25 minutes, I paid the bill & was told it would be right up. I turned around to sit down and the cashier said it’s ready — you can pick it up at the door. As I stood up, I saw a young man bringing a cardboard lid containing my order to the side door. The cashier asked if I needed plates. I said yes and was given plates and condiments too. The young man placed the lid in my arms, said thank you and I left happy. My club members enjoyed everything and said we should order it again for one of other monthly meetings.

This place is disgusting, and the people working there are used to it. The floors were sticky and black, the table tops are gross looking, and the menu can’t be seen because of how dirty the bullet proof glass is. The cashier was so stupid she got my order wrong and didn’t even offer me the cheaper daily special. The prices are outrageous and the food tastes mediocre at best. If you like your food bland and greasy this is the spot for you! I cannot believe this place is still open. You couldn’t pay me to come back to this location!
