First impression, it was a bit awkward walking in. The tables were set up a bit strange, but that wasn’t my biggest concern. The waitress seemed very fast-paced, but was nice. She wasn’t very accommodating, I had a young toddler and needed a high chair but she didn’t really ask if I needed one. There were tables inside but more of a bar set up. The rice wasn’t my favorite, it was moist but lacked a bit flavor. The beans weren’t too bad either. I ordered a camaron quesadilla, they were medium sized, very tasty. One thing is that they put a lot of tomato in mine to make it seem more filled with shrimp. It wasn’t bad at all, it was very filling with one quesadilla. Just in case you’re not sure the difference between a la plancha tacos (grilled tacos) or empanadizados tacos (breaded tacos). Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, service could’ve been a bit better but the food had potential.

Edit: I returned to give it a second chance. Apparently take-out is better than dine-in. The employees were nice. The tacos were delicious. The rice was a lot better this time. I will say the servings were pretty small for the rice and beans. The al pastor tacos had lots of meat. The horchata wasnt too sweet, I personally enjoyed it. The salsas weren’t super spicy, which is good if that’s what you prefer but can be a downside if you like it spicier. Overall experience, the food was enjoyable. My husband had quesadillas de bistec (steak quesadillas) and he really liked them. It was a combo, he loved them. He gave them 4/5, what would’ve made them better was a bit more cheese but had plenty of meat.

Great food in a small family run place. Great portions for the money. The place is pretty simple inside but don’t let the decor fool you. The place has great eats for good value!

This restaurant been in business for over 20 years and their food is always great accompanied with a cold one.
The “Queso fundido con chiles poblanos” was so delicious and not spicy for the ones who can’t eat much spicy.
My shrimp ceviche tostada was chunky but it lack of more shrimp than just the vegetables so I’m sticking with my first dish.

Ordered because it seemed affordable and ended being the absolute worst choice , 3 of my family members and myself got food poisoning from this place , food tasted old and afterwards started throwing up and having major stomach issues and and continuous cramps. by looking at the reviews i know now this has not been the first time they’ve used old food and served it to customers. food is so greasy , the sauce was CHUNKY and had no taste. i don’t understand how people can buy from here.

The food prices are very reasonable. The amount of food on my plate can easily feed two people. The shredded chicken on my tostada and in my enchiladas was flavorful. My taco was al pastor, and that, too, was very tasty. I will say that the beans were good, but the rice was a bit hard. I didn’t eat too much of it. The salsa that comes with the chips is given in little plastic containers with lids, and the salsa was a bit watery for my taste as I like it a bit more chunky. The atmosphere is lively yet small. It is not fancy by any means, but the service makes up for that. Polite and attentive staff! I recommend trying this place.

The food is amazing and the waitress is great.. but the drunk lady kinda sucks and makes it hard to want to stay in there.. she turns the music up way to loud and screams into the microphone.. and it’s only 1:30 pm .. I’m a frequent patron here and she’s always like this..

This place is a Hidden Gem! I order from them on Uber eats like twice a week and now I’m sitting in. The food makes you happy … I brought my sister and she was eating and dancing at the same time… Enough said, please give them a shot. My favorite order is Carne Asada a La Tampiquena*****

Nachos Mexicanos. This plate consisted of tortilla chips with refried beans, melted cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes and onions, guacamole, and sour cream. Protein options were Asada, Pastor, Pollo, and Picadillo. I picked Pastor.
The chips to topping ratio was off. There was a generous amount of meat and melted cheese, and topping that needed extra chips.
The portion size was enough for one adult.
The plate pricing was very reasonable for the portion size.
Overall, this was a delicious plate. I would order the plate again just to try the other protein options.

We ordered on 12/31/2024 around 8:00PM and we had the Mexican nachos, an al pastor torta, an asada quesadilla dinner and a side of guacamole with an horchata. The asada was salty, the chips were stale and the guacamole was old and it looked disgusting. Beyond disappointed. Total was about 60$ for everything…..
