If I lived closer, I would be a regular. In fact, everyone that lives in the neighborhood should be supporting this local gem.
It’s a time capsule… A dark, cozy bar with a sweetheart of an owner/bartender, Carol. Brick walls, dim lighting and decorative relics from decades past. It feels like a place our grandparents, and even our parents, would have gone to often. Words cannot express the feeling I got a soon as I walked in. Nostalgia in the most perfect way.

Stopped in on an oppressive August afternoon for something cold and little did we know we were stepping into a gem. Old school, authentic bar, CD jukebox on the wall, Carol the bartender was so attentive, personable and friendly. House margarita was perfect for what we needed and stayed longer than we expected because of the great conversation with her. Definitely returning when next in Lambertville.

This is one of the best, longtime, most personalized and personable bars in Lambertville. A wonderful, cozy, special spot. Anyone with a negative comment about the owner most likely disrespected her, her bar, or the town to begin with. She’s Carol. She’s lovely. Ask her how she’s doing. Ask her about the history of the bar. Ask about her favorite songs on the jukebox. She’ll be happy to see you. The Mexican food from next door is good, and it goes down better with a beer or a homemade margarita. And in such a sweet spot, you’re practically guaranteed to feel like a million bucks. So get in there! Let’s go! Yes!

I absolutely love the atmosphere. Carol is amazing. I can’t believe jukebox was mentioned since it is near antique. No ratings for food since the closi

I’m not even sure how to rank this place. It’s just that unique. It’s an Irish bar that has a country western theme with a Mexican restaurant behind it.
There’s no beer on draft.
If you want to be surrounded by shamrocks and wagon wheels while drinking Guinness out of a can and eating chips & salsa, this is the place for you. Will I go here again? Only if I’m doing laundry around the corner and I need to kill some time.

We love Mitchell’s! Cozy vibe in there generally and the Halloween spirit right now is next level. The Irish traditional music on first and third Wednesdays has been going for 25 years and is a gem of the area.

Mitchell’s is a gem. A perfect place to put back a cold one in peace while putting some quarters in the juke box. I recommend Marvin Gaye. In the winter you can enjoy the wood burning stove. Around Christmas you can sing Carols around the piano and sometimes there is a good Irish band playing. Love Mitchell’s!

We randomly walked in on a Sunday after walking around new hope and lambersville.
Best decision we could have made! It’s so ridiculously adorable and cozy, I wanted to sleep on the stone floor!
Ok not that crazy, but it’s cozy AF, nice bartenders, great reasonably priced drinks. What more do you want?
It’s unassuming so can I feel cool ok and call this a hidden gem?
Go here if you are looking to chill and have a drink, hang out, and relax. Awesome to hide from the summer heat. I can’t even imagine how special it is here during Xmas or the winter.
