Edge Restaurant, located on West Broad Street in Bethlehem, is a New American restaurant with French and Asian influences. It’s open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and on Friday and Saturday until 9:30 PM.

I stopped in on Thursday night for an early dinner and had a great first experience, with friendly service and delicious, well-prepared food.

My friends and I started with the crispy dim sum (chicken), essentially crispy chicken dumplings, served with a sweet-spicy Thai chili sauce and savory soy sauce.

Next, we tried the crispy calamari, lightly crisp and tender, with medium-sized rings served alongside romaine and baby arugula, red pepper, ginger-sriracha dressing, and fried capers.

For my entrée I went with the Thai Chicken Curry, prepared with tender chicken, fingerling potatoes, cauliflower, scallions, cilantro, and red pepper in a rich, creamy coconut milk broth. The steamed jasmine rice soaked up the sauce beautifully, making this an entrée I absolutely loved.

My friend had the Farfalle Pasta, composed of roasted chicken breast, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke, lemon beurre blanc, grana, and crispy prosciutto. It’s not something I would ever order, but it looked great and she really liked it.

My other friend had sautéed Angus beef with sugar snap peas and hoisin jus, as well as the seasonal flatbread, which happened to be a spicy margarita. The beef was juicy, and the flatbread had a nice crisp to the crust. He enjoyed them both.

From the appetizers to the entrées, everything at Edge was wonderful. It’s definitely a place I’d return to for both the food and the atmosphere.

I think this was my 3rd or 4th time coming, and I have to say, the BEST chicken dish I have ever had in my life was from here, such an explosion of flavors it makes me want to just meditate with each bite to fully immerse myself in the flavor! Our waittress was the sweetest thing ever too! She was very attentive, very informed on the menu with great dish recommendations as well as very nice to us throughout our stay! I definitely want to come back again as soon as possible to get me more of that chicken breast!!

I recently attended a food and wine pairing evening. Each course was amazing. I have eaten at Edge for many years and have always had a positive experience but this was the first pairing event. It has taken my Edge experience to a new level.

Our group of 9 adults had dinner reservations at Edge during Bethlehem’s restaurant week where multiple restaurants offer special prix fixe menus with limited selections. After we were seated, the manager told us that because of our group size (9 people?!) that we had to order off of the higher priced regular menu. We were told that we should have been advised of that when the reservations were made (we weren’t). We were also told that if we were allowed to order off of the advertised Restaurant Week menu that it would create a problem in the kitchen and take up to 3 hours to be served. Complete nonsense and clearly an attempt at driving up our bill. We all left and went to another local restaurant and had a great dinner. This was the first and last time I’ll set foot in Edge.

I’ll add the following comment after reading Edge’s response, which implies that our group of people in our 50’s and 60’s was the problem:
What “policy” are they referring to? There was no such policy printed on the menu or on their website. It was not communicated until we were seated. In fact, the only “policy”, which is printed on their prix fixe menu, says that a 20% gratuity would be added to parties of 6 OR MORE. Apparently, they think that our expectation to order dinner off of the advertised menu was unreasonable. And we were very respectful to the staff. Any disrespect was on the part of the restaurant for not honoring what they advertised

It was our first time at the Edge and my husband’s birthday.
First impression of entering the restaurant was lovely. Decor and lighting was inviting and mysterious.
Our waitress Hailey was polite and pleasant to talk to. Her smile made me feel I was important to her.
The menu at first glance was different than other menus I was used to.
But I figured it out and asked if I could have a smaller size portion, Hailey made it happen.
From small dish to dessert the food was top notch. Everything was presented freshly cooked and the portions were a good size.
My husband and I cleaned every plate. Which for me doesn’t ever happen.
Thank you for our first visit to Edge being #1 in my book.
Gail

Sorry I didn’t get any photos. But will next time.

Adam makes the best martinis! We were here for our New Year’s Eve again this year and enjoyed cocktails and appetizers and dessert! Everything was excellent!

Food was phenomenal! I got the short ribs and they were to die for! My wife took park of restaurant week and got the veggie rice bowl with shrimp. Clay was a great server, very friendly and personable. I did find it odd that the large party next to me was denied the restaurant week menu. They were a party of 10. Thought that was a little greedy of the chef. But otherwise everything great and I’ll be back.

Went to Edge tonight January 17th 2026, and my husband and I sat at the bar. We had to alert the bartender to get our drinks, and later again to order our food. It was a busy night, but the 2 bartenders spent a lot of time chatting and joking with waiters and each other. I ordered spicy Ahi tuna, and the bartender forgot to order it spicy, so a separate spicy sauce had to be ordered. I then ordered the dish that on the menu described Cavatelli with mushrooms, spinach, sausage, and a butternut squash sauce. It took a long time and we had to ask if they had forgotten us. Then my dish came without mushrooms, without spinach, but a very bland and overly cooked/baked cheesy pasta dish. Not recommendable at all. We asked for the menu again, and pointed out the difference in my meal, and what the menu promised. A long tangled story about “ a set” being changed followed. I would not recommend this restaurant. They need to step it up.

I never finish my entire plate and I still have not. However the young lady next to me completely devoured her entire meal. The food and service were great. 10 out of 10 will devour again.

Probably won’t go back. Everything was just meh. My husband loved the dessert! We ordered the tuna (which was way too acidic) but I mentioned I have a soy allergy. I said if they can make it soy free great, if not just cancel it. So someone comes to our table and says no problem but we can’t give you the crisps, would you like cucumber instead. Sure sounds great. At the end of dinner we get the bill and there was a $6 charge for a “side vegetable”. Seriously? How tacky.
