The bartender was a very nice guy, always keeping my drink topped off and you can tell there are frequent regulars. He gave the full rundown of the place some parts of his rundown repeated 20 mins later – except for him never telling me about the off menu wing flavors pertaining to my order.
I will be real here, the first plate of wings were great. Buffalo flavored. The issue was with the wings following. Idk if the buffalo simply overpowered the chicken flavor initially, or if it was different type of wings – but on the second order and beyond I could taste whatever chemicals the chicken farmers are using in the chicken. This is the first time I ever had to comment on the chicken quality anywhere for AYCE wings. Usually it is simply cooked too quickly but here the meat tasted funny. Id personally rather have a wing half the size tasting like chicken vs eating Big Bird.
The place was pretty dang empty for a wing night. I was very surprised initially, thinking “what is wrong with this place, or do they just not market their business enough?”
I am curious who comes here for wing night vs who comes back again for wing night.
Please test taste your chicken wings or switch brands
Also please serve grown adults soda in a glass and not flimsy plastic cups , felt like I was at a kids birthday party. Another first time restaurant encounter for me
I think instead of bartenders having to feel like they need to go above and beyond for a decent tip, the restaurant should reevaluate their foods at least the wings and see where they can improve to generate more traffic to their establishment.
If hooters in the areas are shutting down, as well as other bars and wing joints – you cannot just take your wing nights for granted. Yall are in competition with other wing places and wing nights. I personally go to one wing night a week tops, so if you want my market share for the week let alone others, the quality needs to be there. I will drive double the distance for a better wing night, and so will others. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
See yall in a couple months or so where I will readjust this review as needed.
Went in to watch the Avs game this past weekend. Service was great from the get-go. The server taking care of us was interactive, chatted about the hockey game a little bit here and there and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The green chile was spicy but so delicious! Very affordable prices all around too.
There were a handful of people outside playing volleyball on their court so it seems like a really cool place regardless of the time of year.
Will definitely be back!
The dessert heat dry rub is to die for, my girlfriend thinks I have problems because I ask my fries to be seasoned in it too, not just my wings
The cuban sandwich is the best we’ve had in Colorado, and if you ask for Heather, you can rest assured she will make you some spectacular drinks.
Friday nights they have a drop in for volleyball, and it is such a blast.
Fantastic food, fantastic drinks, great place to play volleyball, and a wonderful staff!
What else can you ask for?
