After the remodel there is so much more room! They also have a full bar now, but I still prefer the Maiuelina IL TRADITORE red wine! It is the best red wine I have ever had. Some of our go to favorites are the charcuterie board, fettuccini bolognese, asiago stuffed gnocchi, fried mozzarella wedges, rice balls, lobster ravioli, and the spumoni ball for dessert. They have a nice large outdoor dining area as well. The owners are so nice and personable and come talk to you when you are at your table. The fresh bread is actually their pizza dough, and it is amazing! My parents love the pizza and will not get pizza take out from anywhere else anymore! You can eat here on the cheap and just get a dinner with the included salad and bread for under $20 or make it a great night out with some awesome drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert.

Giovanni waited on us himself and was incredible. Knew the meal was going to be great when I heard his Italian accent and it exceeded all expectations. The bread tasted super fresh and they brought us more when we finished the basket. The chicken bruschetta and short rib ravioli were incredible. Veal was cooked perfectly in spaghetti. Loved everything about this meal!!

Beautiful, newly renovated, spacious, Italian restaurant. Food is amazing. Authentic Italian food is to die for. Arancini and meatball appetizer a must. Don Giovannis is my go to restaurant for gourmet Italian food. Menu is diverse with many Italian favorites.

What a gem of a restaurant! There were four of us that stopped in for lunch on a weekday. Their food and service were outstanding! Their restaurant is small but they will soon be moving into the adjacent space and will have much more seating. We all enjoyed our meals – Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich, Pasta Bolognese, and Pear Gorgonzola Salad with grilled chicken. We also had cappuccinos. Everything was delicious! The owner and his wife are present and are in charge of the bar and kitchen. We always enjoy supporting local businesses and this restaurant will definitely have more of our business.

Had my husband’s 75th birthday dinner for 17 people. The service (John), and the food was served hot and excellent. Portions are more than ample (fried smelt appetizer, seafood medly, entree; canoli for dessert) for me and shrimp cocktai, chicken parmessan and strawberry shortcake cheesecake for my husband. The price range might seem high but that is for meals that included cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. So considering the amount of drinks and food the price was reasonable. Can’t wait to go back and try their pizza, it looks yummy.
I would absolutely recommend Don Giovanni’s and it has now become my favorite Italian Restaurant in the Port Orange/Daytona Beach area.

We found this Gem by a random internet search. Don Giovanni’s was a wonderful treat while I was in Florida with my boys. The food was amazing, reasonably priced, and the wait time was minimal. They made sure your drinks were always full. The atmosphere was relaxing and made the dining experience even better. The service was outstanding. They were attentive and friendly. My eldest son requested we go back for a second meal while we were there, we did and invited friends. They remember us visiting previously, we were greeted warmly and it was clear out patronage was appreciated. This is the 1st time my son (13) has been impressed enough with a restaurant to want to go back. I highly recommend visiting, you won’t be disappointed. The next time I am in Florida I will go out of my way to return so we can dine there again!

We stopped here on our way to the beach. Such a lovely restaurant, the owners were awesome and the food delicious. We started with the smelt which were perfectly cooked. They were tender and had lots of flavor. We both had the lunch specials- two slices of pizza with a drink and penne pasta with vodka sauce. Both fantastic dishes, simple yet very good. A great lunch at reasonable prices.

We visited Don Giovani’s for the second time since its reopening after the remodel. Seeing Shana and Giovanni as they greeted us with a smile as we entered made the new setting feel like home immediately. We are very impressed by the new décor and larger comfortable layout of the new dining area. We enjoy browsing the new larger menu and are looking forward to trying all the new dishes. Nothing ever disappoints us that is served here. We tried the new Limoncello Martini and it was awesome. This visit for dinner we both went with our standard order of Burrata with Prosciutto as a starter, Chicken Saltimbocca for entrée and Tiramisu for dessert. As always, the service throughout the meal was outstanding and part of what we enjoy most. Never rushed and always pleasant. For us this is the best meal we have ever ordered at any restaurant anywhere for any price. We say that to ourselves every time we get it! Giovanni and Shana have outdone themselves with this great new dining experience. We can’t wait to get back and see them again soon.

Absolutely hand down amazing service, food was absolutely outstanding, drinks were excellent. Had a bad experience during Valentine’s Day but wanted to give them another chance. Giovanni and his crew went absolutely above and beyond to make the experience 100% better. New regulars now. If you had a bad experience give them another chance they are amazing.
