Whoever owns this franchise might want to seriously reevaluate their operations, because this location cannot possibly be running profitably with service like this.

The area is high-traffic, which should make for a booming business but the customer service is practically nonexistent. I was helped by a woman who I assume is the manager, and her attitude set the tone immediately. I asked a simple question whether I could get the Smokehouse Chicken as a whole chicken instead of a combo and instead of a straightforward answer, I got an exasperated response: “Ma’am… so you want the $5.99 deal?” I clarified my question, but quickly realized it was a waste of time. Eventually, I just ordered the combo.

She then told me it would be a 20-minute wait. I said I didn’t mind, and somehow that annoyed her too because she went silent, as if I’d inconvenienced her by… ordering food? After an awkward pause, I had to ask if she was still there before she finally told me the total and sent me to the window.

At the window, she was at least courteous and asked me to wait in the lot. While I waited, I watched at least three cars enter and immediately exit the drive-thru, clearly not placing any orders. One car ahead of me left with nothing. Over the course of 30 minutes, I appeared to be the only customer who actually received food. Meanwhile, a young girl in cleats who looked exhausted tried to go inside, only to find the door locked and be gestured to use the drive-thru. That’s not only unwelcoming it’s dangerous. You are sitting at the table in a cellphone how hard is it to open the door especially with a little over an hour until closing time? A car sped around and nearly hit her as she tried to view the menu.

Finally, after 21 minutes, I received my order. The chicken? Still had visible feathers. I’ve never seen that in any Church’s location back home in Texas. It was as if no one even tried to pluck them before throwing it into the oven. The okra looked like it had been sitting out for hours.

Needless to say, this was a total disappointment, especially on the service side. I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

The inside of the restaurant was dirty with some mysterious grey stuff on the walls, tiles in the cooking area broken and left in the floor, people’s clothes on the sink, bottles of sauce randomly throughout the back. Absolutely no service whoever that girl was in there actually makes it a point to move slow and ignore the line queue and take whoever’s order they want before disappearing for another 5 minutes. Not helpful to the 7 customers in the lobby patiently waiting while the workers ACTUALLY JUST STAND THERE . Then saying that they can’t help it, when there is P L E N T Y of food visible, already prepped. Genuinely consider whether this is sanitary and worth your time. Absolutely a joke, but sadly unfunny.

The food wasn’t bad it just wasn’t really good. I had the chicken tenders and a couple of jalapeño poppers. The chicken was juicy but bland. The hot dipping sauce they gave me did not taste good at all nor was it spicy. The poppers were good but of the same quality that you would buy frozen at the grocery store. The employees were the real show. When we came in the woman working there was busy putting together an online order and had to ask the other employee 5 times before he finally appeared to help us. He seemed very discombobulated. There were about 5 people in the line behind me. He took my order and charged me, packed up the order and gave it to me. He then did this same thing with everyone else which took awhile. I think that it would’ve been quicker to have taken all of the orders and then filled them but what do I know. I only lasted one day at Wendy’s. We ate in and when we were almost done the register guy came over and started to talk to us. I learned about how his step dad raised him and where all he moved as a kid among other things. Really friendly guy but it was a little weird but interesting. But next time, I think I’ll go and find a Zaxbys.

I visited this church’s chicken location maybe a week ago and had an issue with my order. The general manager Cody reached out to me, very kind guy. I told him about the issue I had he worked quick to resolve it. He replaced my order and made it the correct way. As long as he’s there I will return.

Person on the headset (black tattooed male) was rushing me to order. Told me to hurry up I’m running up their drive through time. Was my first time visiting. Makes me not want to come back and to tell everyone in the city about this company. While cooking my food cooked an extra for him self and ate it in front of me. How is this hospitality? Terrible customer service. Store owner you should fire that man.

They Never have anything on the menu ready or available. This is the worst chicken place in Chattanooga horrible service . They need to close it down. Ordered my food through the app.only after paying for my things and arriving at the restaurant to be told they didn’t have any of it in stock or available. this should have been put in the app. you shouldn’t be allowed to advertise something and take someone’s money without giving them the product they paid for. So I never received any product. I know somebody going to give me my money back.

They only had two people working, but they busted their butts made everything fresh we were in and out about 15 minutes. The man at drive thru speaker/window was very respectful, had great customer service.

Me and my friend wanted to have some chicken as most people do when they go to churches chicken, when they didn’t understand what we said for our order, we were understanding so we said it again then they proceeded to be rude by not properly communicating with us via the drive through speaker, after we repeated this process 3 times with no avail they ended up bringing who I assume was the manager over and he told us to go around to the window which we did and we had to say our order in small segments because this guy kept walking away as we were saying our order, after we ordered he said it would be a wait due to the cooking time even though the line was empty and had been empty for over an hour, would not recommend this location. In short: rude staff. Not to mention while waiting in line we saw workers eating while they were making our order! Do better.

Food wasn’t hot, I ordered extra biscuits and only got one!! Also I didn’t receive a receipt for my order so I could bring it back. I don’t know if I was charged for it or if my order was the correct amount that I paid which was $22 !! I ordered 4 wings, slaw, side of mashed potatoes, extra biscuits, sprite to drink. No pepper with meal. Napkins but no utensils. Service was great but presentation was poor
