My mother and I have a tradition of getting different kinds of Banh Mi together, and she was so excited to bring me here after seeing it on the news. We were both very impressed by our experience!
As a starter we had the Grilled Jackfruit Fresh Roll – which had a nice moist rice paper that was easy to chew without breaking off large pieces. Crazy good jackfruit with a smoke to it. The mint mixed with the bright notes of the cucumbers added such a nice kick to the other vegetables as well.
We both had the Kick’n Chicken Banh Mi with spicy mayo – amazing flavor, a fine crispy bread and it was full of jalapeños with some heat (which we love). They were served in bamboo steamers, adding a nice visual flair to our meal.
Given the quality of the food, it was understandable that it took a little bit of time for the food to arrive. If you do go here, make sure that you and your party aren’t in a rush. The staff are all very kind.
It is also a counter service restaurant, not table service. The restaurant is pretty small, and to be honest we were the only other people there so I’m not sure what it would be like busy. However, it was 6pm on a Sunday.
What makes Bamboozle is unique in Channelside/Downtown is that you can bring someone who isn’t familiar with Vietnamese food here and substitute for more American style meats, where some Vietnamese choices don’t have this distinction.

Duck wrap was phenomenal, would go just for that. Boozle bowl very tasty and fresh. Wasn’t in love with the poke roll, but that was more a personal taste thing, it was fine. Service good.

I was so thrilled to find so many delicious options. They’re known for their rice rolls, and they did not disappoint! The crispy duck, grilled chicken, and the traditional fresh rolls were bursting with flavor. The entree, the sesame glass noodles with sesame pork were the perfect way to complement the flavors and add an extra kick to my meal. The Ube Basque Cheesecake was a first for me, and it did not disappoint—it was rich and indulgent, the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
Portions are generous, and everything is beautifully presented.
Bamboozle stands out for its incredible dishes and laid-back atmosphere.

I ordered a small beef pho – it was delicious! Fresh and flavorful. I wish they’d included bean sprouts but that’s a small caveat. As far as restaurants go, the cost was fair, given the quality ($8). The meat was great, not overdone. I’ll be back!

Bamboozle Channelside is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Tampa. Truly everything on the menu is fantastic, but the chicken pho is next-level and my go-to every single time. My colleagues and I eat here every week, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and comforting, and the service is impressively fast. On top of that, everyone who works here is incredibly courteous and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for amazing pho, there’s no need to look any further than Bamboozled on Channelside, right across from Port Tampa Bay. Highly recommend!

Delicious food as always! I love how I can customize my spring rolls. My go to is the Poke fresh roll, it’s amazing. The garlic beef roll is just ok, I wish it had more meat in it. I wish the employees were a little more welcoming/ friendly as well, but overall this place is definitely worth going to!

I’m here now! The vegan pho soup is delicious and smooth very tasty The vegan salad is pretty big, could probably split for two but definitely worth it!
I kinda of wanted a warmer welcome like “Welcome to Bamboozle”. Very quiet place not many customers. Also, when cleaning off tables, never spray cleaning agent around customers eating.
