I consider myself exigent with the food and to be honest, this places was the most decent food I had in all my trip to PR.
The appetizers were amazing.
I ordered the mariscada cubana, and although it was very tasty, I was expecting something different. But it was good overall.
The fish fillets were good, but not something to special.
My friends tried the paella and they said was very good and I definitely regret not taking the fried fish or the lobster.
My mojito de coco was delicious as well.
I recommend to arrive on time to see the sunset they have the perfect angle.
The food isn’t bad, but the flavor could be better. Also, the parking doesn’t feel very secure. Still, it’s a great spot overall for the view, music, and service.
Breath taking sunsets.
Widen open area, friendly service and incredible food.
Sadly, the entrance and parking are separated by a secondary road, with in many occasions fast and heavy traffic. One must have extreme caution.
I highly recommend this place. You can’t go wrong.
“I shall return.”
If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican flavors that taste like they came straight from abuela’s kitchen, this is the place! From the moment my cousin brought me in the restaurant, the warm, inviting family atmosphere and the mouthwatering aromas make you feel right at home.
The mofongo is perfectly seasoned, fluffy yet rich, and pairs beautifully with their garlic shrimp. The cheese balls took me back when I was young, I had a flashback bc my Nana use to make it for me, and don’t even get me started on the arroz beans and yuca with garlic sauce —pure comfort in every bite. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes freshly made with love.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and passionate about their food, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re Puerto Rican or just love great food, this spot will win your heart (and your appetite).
Verdict: Best Puerto Rican restaurant I’ve been to—hands down. A must-visit for anyone craving bold, authentic flavors.
I had the seafood soup, my sister had lobster soup and my mother had a stuffed red snapper and my aunt had a red snapper with the house sauce criollo. Small things could improve the mayoketchu possibly add some garlic. Also the yucca maybe remove the center root before mashing. Other than that the food was delicious and the seafood was fresh.
