We recently hosted a large group event at this restaurant and had such a great experience! From start to finish, the team did an excellent job accommodating our group and making sure everything ran smoothly.

The servers were incredibly attentive — drinks were refilled quickly, plates were cleared efficiently, and they checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Even with a big crowd, we felt well taken care of.

The space itself was perfect for a large gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the games available were a huge hit with the kids! It made the event feel fun and relaxed, and the kids stayed entertained the entire time.

We did have a minor issue with our bill, but the general manager took the time to truly listen to our concerns and worked with us to come up with a fair resolution. That level of care and professionalism really stood out.

We truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the staff’s hard work. We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone planning a group event!

We stopped in at Herd and Horns while in town for our daughter’s wrestling nationals and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving after a long day of matches.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with plenty of TVs to catch a game while you eat. It’s the perfect mix of a local bar and a family-friendly hangout. Service was quick and friendly, and the whole experience made us glad we ventured off campus a bit.

Highly recommend if you’re in Fargo for an event or just passing through!

We had a great experience at Herd and Horns! We went around 5/530 and it was very chill. The server was with us right away. Everything came out really fast, and all of the food was nice and hot. The buffalo chicken egg rolls were SO good! And the fries were seasoned so well. Parking is iffy since it’s right next to campus, but what a great spot. Definitely will come back!

We went on a Sunday in the afternoon and they weren’t busy at all, there was a handful of people watching football. Plentiful TVs to watch a game. Very clean, our server, I believe her name was Ruby, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the boom boom burger and they were out of pulled pork so it was subbed with chicken. Burger patty had good flavor, but definitely could have used some more sauce on the burger or some BBQ on the chicken so it wasn’t as dry. The seasoned fries were tasty and I’d have them again.

Mom notes: not the most little kid friendly restaurant, all high tops, but the perimeter does have some halves that are booths. I would not bring an infant, but older kids would be fine. We were able to keep our toddler contained by sandwiching him between us on a booth bench. It was a spur of the moment decision to eat here or I would have looked at photos of the layout first.

Wings had good flavor. Waitress not the most attentive. Liked the buffalo on the wall. Nothing having me say, “I need to go back there.” Evening might be a better time.

Great college bar! I had the wild rice soup and chicken bacon ranch wrap, and my husband had the boom boom burger. The food was great although took 35 minutes to get it. The bartenders were very attentive and the drinks were good.

Food and service is always 5+ star here.
Food always is so good, fries are nice and crispy.
Burger is cooked to perfection. Chicken tenders might just be the best in town. The ranch is also very delicious.
