We had a flawless dinner at Frends Brewhouse! We started with the delicious fried artichoke hearts. My Jumbolaya was packed with flavor, and my wife loved her spicy chicken fettuccine. My Old Fashioned was perfectly made.
The service was exceptional—our bartender was attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable.
Add in six TVs for sports and great outdoor seating, and this place has it all. A definite go-to spot in Folsom. Don’t miss it

Randomly found this place to stop off for a bite to eat before driving again and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with a large pavilion and an area in the back facing the river where you can also rent out for an event. There’s indoor seating as well as a bar, giving off a laid back atmosphere to sit and have some beers. They do live music on the patios and have happy hour on the weekend which is a plus!
We came in on a weekend afternoon, it was pretty empty inside and we were sat right away. We ordered espresso martinis and beer and for food we ordered the Chicken and avocado club, Turkey sandwich, and Cheeseburger with fries and tater tots as the side for all of it. Everything came out hot and tasted very fresh, the fries were SO GOOD and perfectly crispy. Our waitress was very efficient. We will definitely be back to try more food next time we’re in Folsom!

As regular customers of the former restaurant, Pete’s, we were hoping Frends Brewhouse would be just as good if not better. I’m happy to report it was great. We ordered our usual Caesar salad and pizza and both were delicious. I really enjoyed my Sudwerk Amber Lager as well. Great service from our main server and everyone on the staff. Plus outdoor dining next to beautiful oak trees can’t be duplicated. We will be back!

We paid the venue a visit to celebrate an accomplishment my son achieved. I had been to this location years ago and think it may have changed ownership, as my memory was that it was great food, but a little more expensive than my usual rotation.
In this case, I walked away extremely underwhelmed and dissatisfied with the food. If I had to guess, my sandwich was made from a Costco box of individually plastic wrapped, pre-breaded chicken breast. My sons pepperoni pizza, with 3 mini pepperoni per slice likely came from a pre-made container as well. Prices for food are well above this being reasonable. I’ll also share that both orders at our table with french fries, which were tasty, provided a marginally acceptable serving so I walked away hungry.
The service was good, venue was good, and happy hour prices were good, but sadly the food quality is so poor I won’t be coming back for food.

My visit here today was great! The location looked amazing and was very inviting also offered front and back patio seating and they also have live music on Friday and weekends.
The inside was not crowded or made you feel cramped while trying to enjoy your food. The food too very little time but was perfect because I was able to have some soda, ate my salad then get to the business at hand which was my personal pan all meat pizza which was delicious and cooked perfectly with just enough of each item Yummerz!!
Overall a wonderful visit and the price was just right for a delicious afternoon lunch, plus the owner was their and it was extra nice to see him managing and working alongside his employees with was amazing I really Love that and wish other companies would use this to build stronger bonds within A++++

Had such an amazing spontaneous visit today. I wish I had asked their names but the blonde bartender lady and our server, the dude with the glasses and tattoos were awesome. I was being weird and picky and they totally went along with it and helped me decide what I wanted. Even made me a sample drink to see if I was in the mood, lol. The food was good, but next time I’ll ask for my pizza well done. Pizza was still delicious, and the crust was crispy, I just prefer my toppings cooked more. The fries were crispy, ranch was yummy and abundant! Our check also seemed reasonable for the amount of food we had. Will definitely be back when we find ourselves in folsom. Thanks again! Old school restaurant. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are average and portions are large. Everytime I’m up in Folsom California I go to Pete’s. They have a fully stocked bar. This is a Great place.
