The atmosphere – live music, ocean front etc was great here. Probably a better place to grab drinks and hang than for dinner. The chicken on my friends tacos and my salad was inedible. I was given a packaged ranch dressing on the side that expired in April. Seems like mostly prepackaged frozen food not well prepared. Nothing fresh. Just best to save your appetite for somewhere else. People liked their drinks so stick with that! I would like to give a better review but the food was just so bad.

Had an incredible time at the Jolly Jellyfish Club! The location right on the ocean is unbeatable—breathtaking views and the perfect vibe for a day or night out. The atmosphere was absolutely awesome, with great energy and music that kept the good times rolling. A special shoutout to Zaire, who was an outstanding bartender—friendly, fast, and made some of the best drinks we’ve had in a while. Looking forward to coming back soon. This place is a gem!

The Jolly Jellyfish is a great new restaurant at the Plaza. The rockfish tacos are amazing! We had the Smash-burger with grilled onions and bacon, and it was delicious. We got the best service from Alex. He is very attentive and very friendly. He made our vacation a hit!

We keep giving the Jolly Jellyfish a try because it is so conveniently located next door to us. The outdoors grill still needs some work for consistency. Three evenings ago on the outside deck, a friend ordered the seared tuna appetizer which I have enjoyed in the past. But this time it was served way over cooked. When she asked for a replacement it was served so under seared that it looked like it had passed over the grill for a second on each side. I had the rockfish tacos which were excellent. Kaitlin, I think her name is, is an excellent server even when the food is not up to par. Last night my husband and I returned for supper inside, the crabtini appetizer was excellent as was the rock fish topped with crab.

We have been vacationing in OCMD since 1997 and staying at the Plaza since 2012. We have never eaten at the pool deck bar and were amazed at the transformation from the Jungle Bar to the Jolly Jellyfish Beach Club. We decided to go down for dinner tonight. The atmosphere was great, the food was great, but what truly made the difference was our server Kallie! She is the best we have had ANYWHERE in YEARS!!! So energetic, enthusiastic, and caring!! Attentive and patient! Lots of fun! Planning to have lunch there on Friday before we leave and will be asking for her specifically!

My wife and I have spent a lot of time at the Jolly Jellyfish over the summer and it has always been consistently good, if not great. The menu is extensive with lots of variety. The bartenders do a great job accommodating the crowds and Marc (the owner) has a few drinks of his own on the menu as well. The servers that take care of the tables are attentive and hustle to get your orders as quickly as possible. There are live bands everyday fro 4 – 7 and there’s a lot of dancing as well. You can’t beat the atmosphere, as the JJ sits in front of the ocean and the view is spectacular. Marc and his crew understand customer service and they do their best on all fronts. Marc is already looking towards next year as how to improve upon what he learned from this year. If you haven’t given the JJ a try, you’re missing out. People of all ages are there and it’s always a great time.
