Top 3 steak tacos in GR. Steak is well seasoned, green and red salsas are top notch, and the addition of grilled onion and jalapeno is a plus. Authentic rice and beans rounded out the plate I got. Great service from our server.

Would’ve taken a picture but four tacos were gone before I could take a breathe. The Al Pastor might be one of the best tacos I’ve ever had, especially on their fresh tortillas. Flavor so good I didn’t even want to put the amazing green sauce on it. Steak and Birria were amazing as well. Been too long since we’ve been here, but was reminded why it needs to be our first choice.

I’m surprised El Globo doesn’t have at least a 4.8 rating, this restaurant has legitimate Mexican food. The food tasted like home, the service is excellent and the vibes are there with their new updated interior.
My favorite dish was the Birria, the right flavors are there. I would also say their homemade green salsa tasted delicious and fresh.
Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for some real Mexican food.

Food was gross. Ordered supreme steak nachos and got chips with sprinkles of steak. A ton of old wilting lettuce and minimum sour cream. Would never buy again.
All those chips are what’s leftover. There’s so many less than meat, cheese, and beans, that I doubled the chips and that much is still there!

El Globo has the best birria tacos in Grand Rapids – they are made with goat and served with adobo broth, which is very hard to find. If you’re looking for a traditional restaurant experience with high-quality, authentic Mexican food, look no further! Service is quick and the staff is very friendly.

Stopped in on a Wednesday ($1 taco night) and the place was very busy. I used to avoid this area of town, but no longer. The foods was delicious and even though the wait staff kept apologizing for slow service, we had our food in 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and patient, answering all of our first time questions. Wife and I had enchiladas (chicken and cheese) and both were amazing!! We will be back again!!

I had the taco lunch special. For $10 you get 2 tacos, beans and rice with grilled onions and jalepeno on the side. I had the carnitas and el pastor tacos. The el pastor was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. It was flavorful and slightly charred. Delicious!
