This place feels more like being welcomed into someone’s home than being at a restaurant.
We tried Char siu, egg plant with beef and pork with five spices. Simple menu, good food, very cozy and perfectly named Mama’s kitchen❤️

Every time when I visit Hannover, I will come to Mama’s Kitchen for a nice treat. As a Hongkonger, the food and people here just remind me so much of home.
Every dish here is a must try and they will never let down. My personal fav are Char Siu, Mapo Tofu, the fried chicken, and the sweet and sour pork. The reason why I am only recommending four is because I want those who read the comments to discover the other germs themselves. I strongly recommend others to pay a visit.

We visited to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. We loved the atmosphere and decor. The owner host is very friendly and hospitable. I had the beef entree and enjoyed the food. All in all with the taste of special Hong Kong cuisine and the beautiful atmosphere of this small restaurant, we had a very nice time. Definitely recommend and we will visit again…

One of the most authentic Chinese food in Hannover. If you like Cantonese flavor, you will like it. The price is super nice. For 15 Euro, you get all the food in the pictures. Highly recommend!

I love this restaurant and this is surely one of the best restaurant in hannover. The food i really authentic and of course taste very good. I like the atmosphere is this restaurant, very cozy and comfy. The price is fair, for 15 euro you got the main course, soup and dumpling of the day and also you can buy the frozen food here. When i eat here it feels like my grandma make food for me and the best part is this restaurant doesnt use MSG at all, so it will be more healthy than average chinese food. I recommend to eat crispy chicken and gulou yuk. The couple that runs this restaurant is also very kind and welcoming, this make me want to come and eat there again
