I used to love, slim chickens, ever since they first opened in Baytown. However, the last three times I have been to the restaurant. It has been horrible. I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve been in the drive-through, I picked up an online order, and last night I went into the restaurant to eat. The people are rude. There was no ice and no soda in the fountain. All that was offered was bottled water or warm, sweet tea that was not sweet. I wanted to get a meal deal that was texted to me, but they informed me quite harshly that I could only get one meal off the menu for that deal. There was no compensation offered because of the lack of cold drinks that you would expect at any restaurant.. On top of that, I’ll order a chicken sandwich that I could barely chew. I really wanna love this restaurant but I’m telling you every time I go I get so disappointed. Last night I spent almost $40 in a fast food restaurant. I can’t really afford that but I went in Anticipating to get the buy one get one free meal. I guess this Restaurant is ruined for me as well.

Walked up to the counter to order , nice young lady had a smile on her face very nice , as food workers should be i order the chicken tender meal, with banana pudding for dessert . Fast service as soon as I set down my food was there. Im telling ya ladies and gentlemen this place is awesome. Ty for reading my reviews have a great day

Chicken is not messing around here! 14 sauces to choose from inc. gravy. Fried okra and fried mushrooms taste unbelievable and original. I’m not sure how many sauces are homemade but the 6 I’ve tried have been amazing. I’ve been in here a ton of times- Phil (mgr.) & Ray are mad legit!!!

Arguably one of the best chicken franchises that Elizabethtown has to offer! The chicken was unbelievably crispy and flavorable, yet somehow moist on the inside. Seasoned to perfection, as if Slim was working in the kitchen that day.
I was so impressed, that I found myself wanting to speak to the manager to give them direct praise from a more than satisfied customer.
If I had someone in in mind, I would recommend they seek out an opportunity for rewarding part-time employment.
If Los Pollos Hermanos was a real establishment, then Slim Chickens would give them a run for their money.

Came in later than most. About 45 minutes until close. Being that everyone was cleaning it took them a few minutes to notice me. But when they did they came straight out. Took my order and had the food out hot fresh and fast. Miranda the manager gave us free deserts for the wait. Definitely a positive environment and great customer service.

I had an awesome experience at Slim Chickens, thanks to Austin, the manager! He was super friendly, professional, and made sure everything about our visit was perfect. You can really tell he cares about his customers and his team—the restaurant was clean, the food came out fast, and the whole atmosphere was welcoming. It’s rare to see a manager so involved and attentive. Great job, Austin! We’ll definitely be coming back because of how pleasant you were to our family!

Excellent Strawberry shake, the chocolate was not so much chocolate. Chicken strips juicy and soft inside, crispy outside, melted in my mouth. Took about 5 orders to get the 1 order right! Busy place! Could have had cleaner restrooms. This was our 2nd attempt to eat at this store for the 1st time and finally made it to set down and enjoy a dinner.

This was second time going first time wasn’t any different then this time but thought I’d give it another try . This time I actually took pics . Service needs to be more friendlier . Not a hello or even good bye have a good day or thank you or anything . Wait time for the food is horrible but guess that’s to be expected if they make to order . Food was steaming hot but I was not impressed with the quality of the food again . Dipping sauce was spilled in bag the mac in cheese was turn on its side but it tasted really good . Online it showed on the list of food for the menu they offered coleslaw but they don’t . Didn’t like the taste of the chicken flavoring but was cooked perfectly. So since 2 times I was not impressed I won’t be going back .

I ordered a grilled chicken wrap that was basically a wrap rolled up. Very little chicken and a lot of tomatoes . It was more of a tomato wrap. No service, and messy over all. Every place deserves a 2nd chance. That was the 2nd chance.

Not sure if it’s the manager but she has red braids and she was very rude and aggressive to customers and staff! She made me and my friend feel like we should have chose a different restaurant. The lemonade was almost empty and she wouldn’t refill it or didn’t wanna give us any from the back the drink fountain is broken and there isn’t any ice! By far the worst experience ever! But the cashier the young guy was very nice and tried to make it better!
