Dare I say it’s better then the competitor within stones throw of the business. I’ll be back for more.
This time, we were near the Boulder City location thought to try the place again and different menu items. The foods we ordered, so good! Absolutely delicious. They don’t have a Photo Booth here which is sad, but they still have a pool table and a great view/ nice ambience.
Service took a while to bring out our food but the food made up for it. Here’s what we ordered:
House made bread and butter: the bread was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and delicious overall – especially the the tasty butter.
Broccoli and cauliflower cheese bake: this was extremely well done. The cheese was perfectly melted on the top of the veggies and was a beautiful dish.
Vegan oggie: this is a classic and the filling was the best part. This savory dish paired well with the sweet red sauce.
Veggie chicken tikka masala: very well seasoned and definitely hit the tikka masala flavor! The ingredients are fresh and makes you feel like you’re eating authentic Indian food. The raita on the side well complemented this dish.
Overall a great location with amazing comforting food.
Location is right on one of the main drags, and has plenty of seating for lots of people.
There’s a fairly decent selection of food, with a focus on Pasty’s of all kinds…you will find one you like, and you will have a filling meal.
Group also had one of the very large salads, and I ordered the red skin potatoes which were white hot form the kitchen and really good once they cooled down.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, and on a Sat afternoon their was a nice flow of diners eating there and getting takeout.
Overall, worth the drive to get out of Vegas to enjoy the menu here.
I also ordered a salad, but the lettuce wasn’t fresh—some pieces had red spots and tough, hard stems. The salad dressing was the only thing I really enjoyed.
To be honest, the service wasn’t great the first time I visited either, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because the food made up for it. This time, both the food and service were underwhelming. The staff seemed disengaged, and there wasn’t much attention to the overall dining experience.
Unfortunately, this visit has made me question whether I’ll be coming back.
