Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Came at night to place an order, the employee at the mic offered me suggestions since they were “cleaning the grill” so I took one of the suggestions, and another employee started running his mouth, mad about me ordering. This is very disappointing to hear and I don’t appreciate the way he was talking about me. Whataburger needs to hire better employees, like seriously.

I order large size of onion rings. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. But this time was really bad for the first time they gave me medium size and only half of it and the onion were dry and burned. The first time that I had this problem. The following day I complained to the manager. He apologized and invited to go and get my order right with the ticket but unfortunately I was very busy and lost my receipt. Here in Alice TX have two locations the one is for main street close to the heb.

Whataburger is a family favorite. The last time we went, the staff was friendly; They had a great attitude. They took our order correctly, cooked it perfectly and served it to our table. They also had a tray with condiments and napkins. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and that’s a plus.

Simply stated, the service was poor in almost all areas. Our sandwiches took between 20 to 25 minutes to prepare. We received no ketchup for our fries (even after asking for it). We finally went to the counter after waiting maybe 5 minutes and asked & received ketchup. We also asked for bbq sauce- didn’t receive it. The food itself was fortunately fairly good with no issues.

Waited 15 minutes in the drive through for a pico burger and when I got it it was so cold the cheese wasn’t even melting. I watched families get whole meals while I waited for one ELEVEN DOLLAR burger at whataBURGER. Not how I wanted to end my 17 hour work day.

Ordered 2 bobs this morning at 7am after my boyfriend got out of work, first of all they only gave me one bob. I only noticed cause I looked at the receipt and saw she didn’t charge me for it, so i had to tell her again. There was maybe 2-3 cars behind me 1 in front of me I had to weight 25 mins for my food!! I was eating the bob and there was LITERAL EGG SHELLS IN THERE!!! They went into my gums and I almost choked, absolutely disgusting and disappointing!! Whoever is manager to this place needs to make sure they’re employees are cracking the eggs right smh!!
