This place has a very fun vibe that I believe attracts a lot of regulars. I met a friend on Valentines and we got right in with no wait but it did fill up fast. I ordered pizza, it was great. The sauce was really tasty. I’d definitely go back when I’m in the area.

We had not been here in a little while (couple years) so decided to stop in. It’s a pretty popular spot and has a regular following so it was busy. It was a Saturday evening at prime dinner time so that was to be expected. Fortunately there was an open table for the two of us so we had no wait. Our waitress, Kasey, was excellent! We didn’t feel the least bit rushed but our appetizer was out very quickly and soon after our entrees. Dishes were cleared as they came empty by any waitress or server that happened past the table. We got a burger & fries and the fish dinner with a side Ceasar salad. Everything was prepared perfectly and delivered fresh and hot.
The noise level was commensurate with a bar/restaurant which should be expected when dining at a bar/restaurant.
The menu offers plenty of options at reasonable prices and the bar can satisfy the full gamut of request.
In summary – I recommend Trueman’s Place to anybody looking for a good dinner, light apps and/or drinks with friends.

We have been here twice now when staying at a nearby hotel. Myself and the other adults who were with me feel this place is a hidden gem! The food has been amazing both times, great service. I got the blackened chicken Philly wrap this last time which was delicious.

I visited Trueman’s Place on a Sunday afternoon with two friends. The parking lot was about 3/4 full. Going into Trueman’s, it has a cozy feel. Lots of local High School memorabilia on the walls – this is a family-friendly place. It was pretty full, but we found an open table tucked around the corner from the front door. Once seated, we were greeted quickly. The service was great; the waitresses were quick & attentive – it was notable.
The menu is typical for what you’d expect at a bar & grill. I did not eat, but my friend had the Reuben, which was a little short on meat, but apparently it was tasty. I had a bottled beer and a shot of Patron, which was surprisingly inexpensive.
Overall the experience was good. I’m glad I went and I won’t hesitate to go back.

Fun bar atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, good food. The onion rings were excellent, crisp breading and not overly greasy. The fries were also very good, crispy, salty and just enough other seasonings to make me want more! Overall good experience.

We stopped at this place for a bite to eat, as always local people, friendly staff, and tasty food. This time, the only complaint was the boneless chicken wings my wife ordered were really salty and had to be replaced for another order. Other than that, a nice visit.

Solid choice for a not-quite dive bar. The food is good, the team waiting is nice and the place is clean. Had the pork tenderloin and gumbo (soup of the day), and both were really good.

I only came here because i saw the review picture of the fried wings. So i ordered 20 piece wing. Asked that they be fried extra crispy. I asked if the bread them they said no. So I asked for mines to be half naked and half sauced because she said they toss them in sauce. And I added a fry. Well as you can see from my pictures the real pictures um the wings are soggy and scorched, fries flimsy i wouldn’t buy this food from Walmart with foodstamps. No season salt nothing.
