Years ago Luna had been on one of out lists of potential venues for our wedding dinner but we ended up going someplace else instead. We wanted to finally try it out after all this time, so my spouse booked us a reservation for their new garden bar.
The restaurant itself is nice and I wish we had eaten in the regular dining room instead, because the garden bar was packed full of people and the music was really loud. Lots of chatter from all patrons, and it qas a very small space. It was very elbow to elbow, and very surprisingly busy for a Monday night too. It was so packed I thought perhaps the restaurant was short staffed because it was almost a half hour after being seated that anyone came by for our order. Also the complementary bread was really hard and the butter was cold, making it difficult to spread.
Drinks were good, the salad and the pizza were baller. The fig pizza was probably my favorite. Spouse got the salmon and I got the steak. It was good but just good. I wasn’t blown away, especially for how much they were charging and how long we waited. The food was good otherwise, and I liked the drinks we got. Not really sure what they could do to improve, I think we just chose a poor time to go.

20/10 for atmosphere! Sit at the bar if you can and pinch yourself when you forget you’re in Spokane, WA! This sublime experience is special… food, cocktails, experience. The renovated Luna is a MUST STOP for those seeking an elevated night out. Prices reflect an upscale environment, but happy to say every penny was worth it! Phenomenal! On par with anything in NYC or LA. Wow, and the decor…!

The new Garden Bar is really classy. The food is always spectacular. This time we had the Salmon, Sea Bass, Crab Pasta and Fried Chicken. Everyone raved about their food. Unfortunately, they were out of oysters, but we decided to share the crab cakes instead… all agreed they were the best we’ve ever had! Thanks for providing us a special place to ‘date night’ Luna!

Beautiful place, food was ok(not the best but ok) and we had a good server but the manager was the rudest person I’ve ever experienced. I’ve dined all over the world and never have I experienced a manger doing what he did at the end of our dinner here.
We had just finished up with dessert after eating appetizers and meals…. The manager came over to our table and said “we have a reservation and need this table so you need to leave” we were in utter shock and disbelief but proceeded to get up to leave and as we were leaving we noticed there were tables in the dining area of this restaurant that they could have seated these people. It would have been a decent experience if it weren’t for the distaste in my mouth over this manager.

Our waiter was personable and made great suggestions. The pear Gorgonzola pizza was very tasty. My Caesar salad was good. The chicken added was delicious, moist and tender. Excellent.

We had an excellent dinner here! We had an early dinner reservation where we were greeted, sat, and had recommendations for drinks within minutes. Our wait person was awesome and had fantastic recommendations for our meal, and spaced out each course nicely so there was no rush but also no waiting. The food itself was incredible, everything perfectly done. It was a nice leisurely evening with lovely ambience.
The only negative issue I can think of was the parking. It is a small lot and we were fine on arrival, however it was really difficult to get out because someone parked behind us and three other cars were trying to snag our spot. A slight trouble which is worth the service and food!
