Waffle House has quickly become one of my quick picks for breakfast.
STAFF: Polite, friendly, and accommodating. Service is timely and recently asked if my party had any allergies. WELL DONE!
OUTSIDE: Parking is a little tight during high traffic times but, normally it’s not too bad. Around the building has always been clean and trash free.
INSIDE: Eating area & the male restroom has always been clean. Tables are cleaned quickly for new guests. Food is served in a timely manner, at the appropriate temperature, and with good flavor.
SUMMARY: I will continue to go as my experience has been good so far.

I thought I have been at the best Waffle House in Shallotte, NC; but I was wrong, this one is my new favorite!! The staff was wonderful, the All Star Breakfast was delicious and the place was clean! We had to go out of our way to find it, but it was well worth it. Wish we lived closer.

We came in as a group of 21 people. Our waiters, waitresses, and cooks were phenomenal. I didn’t catch everyone’s name tags but thank you to our cook Lindsey and cook in the camo visor (didn’t see your name) who stayed past her shift to help cook all our food. Kyra for keeping our drinks full and dishes clean. Alex and Ant for taking all our orders and Brittany for keeping it all straight. We appreciate all your kindness tonight & feeding our families!

A thin young man with longish hair was super nice and ran to help a friend in a wheelchai. Thank you.
Waitress was Cassie. Slightly arrogant and her singing and dancing directly in front of us was so NOT cool. It was like trying to get our attention. Sorry, only made me note I hated it here.
The food was barely edible.
Eggs covered in oil, fake butter, or something. I wanted medium. One egg was broke and almost cooked through. The other under so was snotty.
Hashbrowns overcooked on one side.
Sausage…overcooked as they were dry.
Toast…the fake butter ruined it so jelly didnt fix it.
Sweet tea….Holy heck SUGAR!
Friend had some bowl. He asked for sausage gravy on it. She said just white gravy,
When it came….sausage gravy.
He ate his, no complaints.
POSITIVE: friend and I are the only customers so the crew started scrubbing the walls and shelves.

Waitress was very rude the entire time and even to her coworkers. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, however she needs to pursue a new career path if she’s going to be rude & belittling the entire time. All of the tables were dirty upon entering and there was a handful of people there.

This morning my boyfriend and I went to the Waffle House in Richlands and wanted to enjoy a breakfast. We walked in and there was a wait, and table opened up and we were the very first people to be up next. Instead, two individuals decided that as soon as they walked through the doors they weren’t waiting and sat in the open table that we were about to sit in. The staff didn’t know except for the manager watched it go down. I believe he was the manager, his name was Dave!! Needless to say, we love Dave!! He made our meal and our time in this WH right. Thank you Dave and the Staff at the waffle house in Richlands for correcting the seating arrangements for us.

The food was very good and so was most of the staff but our female waitress was horrible. She was very rude and it just ruined our time there. I understand her job maybe a bit stressful but if you can’t keep it together then go. Take a mental health day.
