If you have the absolute privilege of being served by Summer, the incredible food is just the cherry on top at that point. Her sunny personality made the whole meal experience that much better. We tried the Zucchini Blossom special along with the fabulous whipped goat cheese starter. Can’t recommend enough!

Went in without expectations, the place looks very ordinary from the street; but the menu was intriguing and more exciting that the greasy spoon up the street. Good move. The food was really, really good. Try the fried oyster mushrooms and the maple bacon onion rings! I had the safran chicken for the main course and it was perfectly cooked and so flavourful. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem tucked in a bend of the Chateauguay River in Ormstown, about an hour from Montreal. It’s like a five-star urban bistro had been transplanted into the countryside. The food and drink list are original and inspired, on a different plane from the pub food you might expect. If you are lucky, you may even be served by Noëmie, who has mastered the lost art of hospitality! All set in a rustic two-level tavern with a terrace that is weatherproofed. A practical tip learned after several visits: there are extra washrooms upstairs if there is a wait for the single one at the entrance! Worth a trip!

Amazing experience, the restaurant is lovely decorated with a very rustic environment, plus it has a beautiful view next to the Chateauguay River. The food was something I did not expect, really tasty, with fresh and local produce, very flavoury. We asked for several changes and they perfectly accommodated all our dishes to our requests. We tried a drink that we got recommended which was very fresh and savory. The service is also a 5 star, really the best we have had in long time. Kudos to all the staff.

Super yummy food here. It’s a bit of a diamond in the ruff. I was pleasantly surprised to find great vegetarian options on the menu and amazing service to be had. The menu isn’t extensive which is okay. It’s nice that everything is so fresh. Also, they really know their gin’s and serve it with the best tonic out there, fever tree. Really great place to go. ** we were two f/f couples and had no issue whatsoever so I would definitely rate this a very LGBTQ positive location**
