I’ve had this one on my to do list for a while. Recently saw a tik tok highlighting the restaurant and made a decision to get over here finally. Had a ruben, but asked for corned beef and pastrami. It was delicious. I also tried the mini egg rolls which were spot on. The staff is very friendly. Next time I need to leave some time to browse the store and pick up some grocery items. Not enough time this trip as I needed to get to the airport. Overall great experience.

Great resource for the kosher community. Deli and grocery wrapped up in one. Proprieter is super friendly and helpful. Prices are decent. Food is quite good. Highly recommended.

We traveled to NOLA for a work conference. They provided our breakfast and we also came to eat at the restaurant for dinner. All of their food was fresh and delicious. Staff members were super friendly. Would definitely eat here again if I ever come to New Orleans.

It’s a true blessing to be able to stop on a road trip and get fresh kosher food. We ordered several dishes for the three of us to share, and everything was good. The jambalaya, “shrimp,” sandwiches, and onion rings were all very good and priced very fairly. They’re also a fully stocked kosher supermarket, which makes it an incredibly convenient stop if you need anything for Shabbat or kosher food for the road. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I’d recommend stopping by whether you’re visiting or just driving through New Orleans.

It’s a multi-use store, they have judaica, grocery, and restaurant all in the same building which is great for one stop shop. The food was tasty but my entire family got terrible food poisoning! We even called in to let the owner know, and he was super dismissive. They charged 1.50 for a tiny side of Russian dressing without saying that it’s an additional charge. Also they ring everything up together at the end so your merchandise plus whatever food you got and then ask for a tip! So just beware of that fun fact…

I saw the RB&R review about this place so I decided to give it a try!! The food that I got was absolutely outstanding the J&N special was on point and full of flavor!! The red beans and rice was some of the best I’ve ever had they put their own little spin on it and it really worked. The employees were extremely welcoming not to mention, they had a large variety of grocery items that you don’t see in regular stores!! I’m definitely going to become a regular here!!

I’ve been eating here sporadically for probably 20 years now, and have never been disappointed. My go-to is always the J&N Special and a Dr. Brown’s cream soda. Wish I could go eat there more frequently, but the traffic in Metairie is so bad nowadays it’s hard for me to get across town just couple of miles to have lunch and then get back to work on time.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and today we finally were able to! We live an hour away and it was worth the drive. I’ve been wanting to find a store with Israeli snacks and food and this is it! We got lunch and it was DELICIOUS! The cashier was so nice and helpful. We got matzoh soup, Rueben sandwiches, and fresh halva. Plus lots of snacks! They have lots of judaica gift/ book items too. I definitely recommend stopping.

Incredible kosher food, burgers were delicious and better than any burger I’ve ever eaten in New York. The store has cool history on the walls and all these sports memorabilia, the owner Joel is very nice! I got chicken nuggets and they were so good and the burgers were super juicy. They sell a lot of kosher food in the supermarket section of the shop which is great for if u ever find yourself in Metairie. Prices are reasonable too. It’s a cool shop would definitely recommend u can spend all day in there

Sports memrobelia all over his store. All types of Kosher groceries to purchase. All types of people come to eat at this Delic establishment which has been around for 36 years.
