We like Agave and have eaten here for years, but doing takeout I was shocked that I paid $16 for 4 oz of guacamole and 4 oz of queso. I ordered off the online menu which didn’t have the sizes. I cooked for tacos, so these were just side dips for the family, but they didn’t go far. When I called to question if they gave me a side order vs the appetizer order, they confirmed that for $7 and $8, 4 oz is the appetizer portion.

Ordered online for the first time trying to find a new mexican restaurant. The pictures online for their ordering DO NOT match what they give you at all.
I ordered x2 queso $14 and their $12 nachos. The portions I received for these are CRIMINALLY SMALL and do not match what is displayed on their site. It’s an insane ripoff, and I will not be returning.

Absolutely horrible service. Horrible, waitress never came in and checked on us, had to find another waiter to get my ORDER, REFILL, check us out. As well our queso was cold. Just very very unprofessional, atmosphere was great. Service sucked, food was okay.

The atmosphere was kind of unorganized and the service was quick but not in a good way – I felt like I was being rushed out. This is also the first Mexican-style restaurant where I had to salt the food when it came out – the vegetables had absolutely no flavor. The chicken on the other hand was super juicy! Very mixed feelings here.

I had the carne asada street tacos. It was very good. The seasoning was well mixed in and it was cooked to perfection. If you have any food allergens or eating gluten-free they can accommodate.
