Every other week i take my autistic grandson to a different restaurant to find the best pancakes in Indiana/Michigan. This week it was close to home as i heard about Blue Sky from a friend. Since we were so close to home, we invited his dad, his other Grandpa, an uncle and his cousin. The service was outstanding. The food was on pointe and the prices where fair, and Jacoby gave the pancakes a solid 9 out of 10 – the best score yet in two years.
February 21,2026- Breakfast with Jungle Bob this morning at Blue Sky in Pierceton. Pancakes were a bit above average at a 6. We decided to also score places on the experience- the wait staff, the atmosphere, ect. A solid 9 for the experience. Waitress was great!

If you love the nostalgic dinner vibe, this is the place. The menu was extensive and food was great, featuring interesting foods like a Mediterranean frittata or a gyro omelette, eggs Benedict as well as all the basics. And as a born and bred southern I was thrilled that they had grits on their menu (and the real kind, not the instant runny mush)!
The waitress was great as well. Can’t wait to bring my kids back with me next time!

I first ate at the Blue Sky Cafe about six weeks ago. I’ve been back weekly for breakfast and once for lunch. It’s the kind of restaurant every small town wants! The servers are friendly and the food is good. I’m a pancake guy and theirs are top of the line. I count myself a dedicated diner now.
