We were gonna have a 2nd pizza made to take home, but we got there 40 min to close, so after we ordered and ate, we didnt notice the time and they had shut ovens off. Sent us home with a frozen pizza to try free, she said it was because she told us we could order yet, but that was so nice of them to do that. Definitely going back, the thin crust was amazingly crispy and the cheese was gooey. Fast friendly service and they didnt try to rush us out the door, even gave us time to decide as we werent quite ready. It was a great experience.

I have been here many times in the past when previous owner owned and something definitely has changed… to start , the service… wow was that unbelievable and just ODD. Our waitress was never around or we had to go hunt her down. We ordered 2 pizzas and one came out and we were still waiting for the other one for almost 20 mins, again had to go ask where the pizza was and I’m guessing they forgot about it, the service was so so bad that the owner ended up paying the bill.. the whole group I was with have never experienced such bad service, was literally bizarre is the best way to describe. The pizza and garlic bread was good at least, but probably will never come back..

The Google menu prices aren’t accurate. Showed up expecting to pay about $45 after taxes. Ended up paying $60 for 2 pizzas because “they’ve been meaning to update the prices” is what the lady told me. What a joke. For a $30 “deep dish” pizza, the toppings were super sparse, the crust was flat and tough, the “deep dish” was as deep as a Jacks frozen pizza (see picture), yet they have a hidden upcharge for $5 for ordering “deep dish”. The owners are making a hell of a profit with their scam – I hope the extra money you made off of me is worth the one star and an angry customer. Dominos “2 for $14” pizzas deal is the better choice.

Best pizza ever. There’s vegan and gluten-free options. I ate in the bar and had gluten-free pizza. There crust was VERY good and it’s a bigger pizza than most places serve. Excellent service and bartender.

My brother picked up 3 large pizzas (unbaked) in Wausau to bring to my home in the Twin Cities for a Christmas gathering. This was a real treat as I hadn’t had Angelo’s in a long time. The pizzas were tasted great! I highly recommend cooking these on a pizza stone that is well heated first.

Only 2 staff members to run the entire place for table service and take out. The wait time was ridiculous. When the pizza finally came, the top looked great but crust underneath was nearly raw it was so limp and doughy. Pizza was sent back, came back 10 minutes later, and top was crispy and brown, crust underneath still raw. They need to figure out their oven temps.
