Foxy Fox Pizza was a treat. We were invited by friends who come regularly as one of their favorite restaurants. We all had Greek salad. Each couple shared a large salad. Even though the salad had mushrooms and they were heavy on the cheese, the taste was good. My wife and I shared a gluten free crust medium sized vegetarian pizza. Our friends had a meat lovers pizza. The vegetarian pizza was healthier and tasted good. However, our friends had one slice of the meat lovers left they were not going to finish and I asked for it. The meat lovers pizza was DELICIOUS!!! We plan to go back for sure. The service was great and fast. The atmosphere was nice. I highly recommend for you to go have some Foxy Fox Pizza, for dine in or take out.

I do my best to support local business. I know if I don’t patronize the locals, they may not be there when I want them. I have visited Foxy Fox many, many times and ordered take out as well. Today’s visit prompted this review, but the symptoms have been ongoing.

First, the service is never “great”. There is one server who does a great job, the others are weak at best. I don’t know if they are not being paid, or if the owner doesn’t care, then they don’t either, but it is not a pleasant experience when you have to flag down a server every time you need something. Today, my wife and I took our three grandchildren out for lunch because they love pizza. We sat down in a booth and the server came over promptly.

We ordered three lemonades for the kids and drinks for my wife and I. My grandchildren are young, so the server immediately let us know that they did not have “to go” cups with lids. Great! And this is why I say the owner doesn’t care. Sure, it’s a little thing, but it’s the little things that matter. Sam’s Club, Costco, BJ’s, Walmart all carry styrofoam cups with lids. Go buy some cups so your customers with young children won’t spill all over everything.

She left, brought the drinks, we ordered and the appetizers came out. Fries for the kids and zucchini fries for us. Does she bring plates? Nope. How about some napkins for the messy kids? Nope. Silverware? Nope. I try and flag her down, but she is busy texting or posting or doing something on her phone. Finally, I catch her eye, she brings napkins, exactly one for each person (at least I know she can count), but still no plates nor silverware.

The pizza comes out and she does bring plates. The pizza is a large, and as usual, the crust is floppy, so we need silverware. Our server has once again vaporized, so eventually I get up and get the silverware. We finish, get the bill, and after the tip it’s close to $70. Ouch. It was not unexpected, but it still stung when at the end of the day we ordered one pizza, $15 worth of apps, a beer and 4 soft drinks.

I want to be clear that no one has ever been rude to my wife nor myself, it just always feels like, as the customer, I am the third or fourth priority on these young ladies agenda. The food is good, and I expect to pay more for a pizza in an independent restaurant, but it is expensive compared to the competition.

If you’re anywhere near McDonough and not eating at Fox’s Pizza, you’re seriously missing out. This place isn’t just serving pizza—it’s dishing out straight-up magic in every slice. The crust? Perfectly golden and crisp. The cheese? Gooey, rich, and piled just right. And the toppings? Fresh, flavorful, and generously loaded. It’s hands-down the best pizza in McDonough—no contest.

But what really sets Fox’s apart is the customer service. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. It’s that real Southern hospitality—smiles, good vibes, and service that feels personal.

And the customers? Just as welcoming. The whole atmosphere buzzes with small-town charm, friendly chatter, and the smell of fresh pizza that’ll make your mouth water.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in with friends and family, Fox’s Pizza makes you feel right at home—with a slice in your hand and a smile on your face.

Ok I normally only write reviews when it’s bad but hunny I had to stop eating to write this one. I ordered chicken, broccoli Alfredo pasta and when I say, “it’s the best I’ve EVER had”… I’m not even exaggerating! The lady at the bar made the best lemon drop and her customer service was truly from the south. She was pleasant and welcoming. One of the cooks sat next to me at the bar and told me the pasta would be good and he didn’t disappoint!!! I will be going back. Thank yall

This is the best hot Italian sub in south Atlanta area. The chicken parm sub with roasted peppers, if you add it, or maybe get grilled onions is out of this world.

The roll is a bit on the small side but the sauce, cheese and chicken breading flavor more than made up for that. It wound up being enough so that I don’t feel like I needed more. It’s a wow for me. Very surprised. I moved here from NYC and didn’t expect this in McDonough/Union Grove GA area.

Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. There were 3 little strips of chicken on it. I should have taken a picture and compared it to the online menu photo. Speaking of, the online menu said $9.50. I was charged $11.49 for it. Never again.
