Literally the BEST breakfast burrito I ever had. We got a steak burrito and loved it so much!
Also their sauces, freshly squeezed orange juice were all amazing

It’s mid. And the mid has nothing to do with the small size.
The positives:
– Great tortilla, grilled perfectly
– Eggs are great
– Plenty of avocado
– Perfectly crunchy tater tots
Negatives:
– Too much salt
– Lack of flavor aside from the salt
– The bacon is okay — the crunch is great, but it’s too salty, and the bits are inferior to a strip or two of crispy bacon. Also, it’s imbalanced in the burrito, so you get all the bacon on one side and all the avocado on another
– Mediocre salsa
I didn’t finish it. Gave the rest to my Mom. So I don’t care how small it is, it just wasn’t good enough. It’s about $20, which would’ve been worth it if it was amazing. Orange County has way better breakfast burrito spots.

Do not miss out on this spot. Easily my favorite breakfast place of all time. I don’t even like burritos—and theirs are to die for.
The tortillas are chewy, fresh, and absolutely perfect. Highly recommend the steak burrito—it’s hands down the best thing on the menu. Every bite is savory, crispy, and chewy in all the right ways. And the cilantro crema? Unreal.
Their pastries are pretty good too, so honestly you can’t go wrong. All around, 100% recommend.

Their breakfast burritos are SO GOOD!! I’ve heard about Wake and Late as one of the best LA-style burritos and it truly lived up to all the talk. Especially their cilantro crema sauce on the side~ Our server was in great spirits too, and these days, it goes a long way 🙂

It was hard to find as there isn’t signage and it’s a bit tucked away (walk-up window only), but the service was great and we got a free sample of their frozen coffee! We got two breakfast burritos: one with bacon and the other with refried beans. The refried beans was my favorite–especially dipped in the avocado crema. The sauce was a little spicy, super creamy, and had a delicious cilantro flavor. And the tater tots were *so crispy*. Couldn’t recommend more. The fresh squeezed OJ was also delicious but pretty $. I wouldn’t say this would be a weekly spot cause you’d be out about $45 for two burritos and juice.

Just simply not worth the cost. It tastes great, cool packaging I guess. But a $21 burrito that is smaller than my hand is insane for that price. I can recommend breakfast burrito spots that cost $10 for a burrito with the same fillings and taste great with way more quantity.

The burrito was really good, the portion or size wasn’t too big or too small and just right. Right amount of meat and ingredients to make it a solid breakfast meal.
I’d definitely try to come out to their location and try their other menu items.

Lightning strikes twice with this place. Having recently moved to Downtown, I needed a new breakfast spot. Found this place close by and couldn’t choose between trying the bagel first or the breakfast burrito. They made it easy, I ordered the burrito and the amazing manager gave me a bagel. Its infuriating that I can’t determine which one is my favorite. The bagel has a crunch to it on the outside and perfect sourdough inside, dipped in the scallion cream cheese is a good way to start your day, but also end it because I don’t think anything can top it. Well maybe the Breakfast burrito which somehow rivals the goodness of the bagel. Got the steak with a cilantro crema, its exactly what a breakfast burrito should be, no words, just get it.

Not worth the $20. The burritos are only getting smaller. You’ll still be hungry after eating here. The burritos used to be a lot bigger and that’s where all the hype was, big burritos great ingredients fresh taste now it seems like they care more about packaging. Take my picture as an example of how small this burrito really is and compare that to the price. It’s more like a hooked up breakfast taco to be honest.
