Overall, I’ve tried the dine experience at the Somerset branch and the waterfront branch.
*** Food seems a bit more bland than the one in Waterfront.
*** Staff is friendly at both branches.
*** The mussels had almost no meat.
*** The sauce, eish! We were basically scraping it from the plate. I’ve noticed this from both branches. The sauce makes the dish. Anyone who does a platter, at any seafood establishment, looks forward to having the sauce with the seafood. I’m just mentioning this as something to consider as improvement. Please add lemon wedges to the platter
*** The coconut rice is definitely the star of the show! Just wish the portion wasn’t that small.
*** The seating on the terrace was good. Tables were a bit wobbly. The terrace could use some more ooomph.
*** People were seated inside because there’s no fans/AC outside during summer. I was there during winter as well, same thing. No one is outside because it does not cater to the season.
Overall experience was good. Definitely has potential for rising, especially in that location.

Atomic-Chicken
We had a lovely time at Mozambik in The Sanctuary Shopping Centre, Somerset West. Themba, our friendly waiter, was on the ball with our order and drinks. We shared the seafood platter for two with coconut rice (still deciding if I like it!), and the seafood itself was delicious. The iced coffee was sweet and refreshing, and the restaurant’s colourful decor with a view of the dam made the experience even better. Thank you for a great meal!

We had an great experience at Mozambik. The food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced. Our waiter, Tylor, was charismatic, friendly, and gave us outstanding service. He was quick with our drinks and meals, and even went the extra mile by de-shelling the prawns for my girlfriend’s grandmother, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We sat outside overlooking the dam, and it made the evening even more special as we watched the sunset with our drinks. Overall, everything from the service to the setting was top notch. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

First time here, quite surprised with the great variety on the menu, and the food is also really tasty. In terms of the portion size it is also great value for money. Will be back to try the other items on the menu.

We visited Mozambik Restaurant for dinner one evening with family and had a wonderful experience. Upon entering, we noticed it was a bit warm inside, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. We were warmly greeted by our waiter and quickly seated.
We started with cocktails and local beers, which were absolutely fantastic—fresh, crisp, and refreshing after a hot day. When it came to the food, we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures, but every single dish was outstanding. From the taste and freshness to the aroma, everything was top-notch.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great night out with excellent food and drinks.

We came on 09/02/2026 for my friend’s birthday and it was an absolutely amazing day. Our waiter was Aya and the manager on duty was Ace, they had everyone come sing happy birthday and gave a free shot, it was a very special experience. The food was delicious, we ate till we were stuffed and they made no mistakes removing things for me. The cocktails were delicious too and the atmosphere on the dock is very comfortable, they even cover the sun for shade when it’s setting and put up clear screens to protect from the wind a bit. Highly recommend the restaurant, very nice people and good food.

We had the best waiter Tiang, she was friendly, welcoming and an amazing host. We had the date night offer on Thursday’s, comes with a choice of 2 course or 3 course and includes a bottle of wine. We had the prawn rissoles as the starter, and the prawns, lemon, herb and garlic and half chicken peri peri as mains. Would highly recommend!
