Firehouse subs used to be one of my favorite! In the last several months, my favorite sandwich, the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket has gone from a 10 to a 1. Their meat is super fatty and tough. They put less meat on as well.
I used to pick firehouse over any other sub shop, but they are now in the same category as Subway unfortunately. Looks like Jersey Mike’s has my business unless firehouse can step it up and get back to the quality they used to be.

Come in pretty often, but this time in particular really rubbed me the wrong way. I come in at around 8:19pm. I understand the place closes at 9pm but there is also not a sign that says we can’t come in and order before then. As soon as my boyfriend and I walked in, the employees immediately look at us and sighed. One young lady was taking the trash out at the time. I assume she was the one making the sandwiches because as soon as she sees us, she proceeds to angrily put the trash bags down and starts making the sandwiches . Again, i understand you close at 9pm but you still have 40 minutes to do closing work but have a nasty attitude about two sandwiches that took you 8 minutes to make is crazy. Food is amazing but the employees past 8pm aren’t.

Quite enjoyed this place. For a sandwich shop it’s really good! I got the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the Engineer. Both very well made. Bread is so soft and smells so good! Bacon was so soft was not overcooked like most sandwich shops. Honestly out of both I loved the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich. Overall experience defiantly amazing, will come back for sure!! Amazing decor, and the kids get a cute firefighter hat!! Total win win!

Been a regular here for quite a while now and within the last 1-2 years noticed a real drop off from what I would get.
I have standing order that I always order and I always double the meat. For whatever reason this location repeatedly just ignores that and gives me the standard faire amount for my sandwich but going to Fort union location I can tell when I order and get double meat because I can feel the heft in the sandwich.
this one I was like Okay ill give them a chance to see if they do it again and just got only the meat and cheese. Still the same thing.
I rarely do this but I have to add this to my permaban location. Far too often I would talk directly to the owner and mention it and still this happens.

The Italian is still my go to as its the only sandwich with enough protein. The French Dip was much better the second time. Impressed this last time with the amount of protein on French Dip and the quality of the sandwich.

I continually pay extra for double meat ($5) and they don’t put a noticeable amount extra from a regular sandwich. It’s almost as if they take it as an opportunity to just pocket the extra you pay.

Obviously, there is no real intent to address the theft going on at this location. Maybe stealing from customers is an internal policy to increase margins?

1st time going here. I ordered a “medium”, smokehouse brisket & cheddar. Let’s just say, that I should have gone to Arby’s, and got more for my money! The guy behind the counter claimed that I would never want to go to Subway again after eating this fantastic sandwich! Boy, was he absolutely wrong! A few thin slices of “brisket”, some cheese sauce, and some BBQ sauce – for over $8 ??! Come on Firehouse……. you can definitely do better than that! Until you can… I’ll be headed to Subway!!

Every single time my wife orders, it’s incorrect. They do have gluten-free buns there. But getting gluten-free sandwiches, there is a no-go for me because I noticed the fountain drink dispenser was so nasty I’m afraid of getting any gluten-free sandwiches there If they would keep that dispenser that nasty, I am sure they will not change glover for someone with celiac disease and have a gluten sensitivity, so be careful. This is not for all firehouse sub locations. It is just for this location. Next time i’m there, I will make sure to take a pic of that drink dispenser. I just want to go back to see if they even clean that area. The sandwich to the left should be a Cuban, but they wrote jamaican on it. They did say it’s a Cuban, but I am sure it is not. The sandwich to the right is for my son, let’s see how he likes it.

I usually come here on my lunch break from work and have always had great experiences. Today however I got all the way back to work before I realized my sandwich had only veggies on it. No sauce, no meat, and no cheese. It wasn’t busy, so I’m not sure exactly what happened. Really disappointed to pay $15 for a piece of bread with some lettuce on it.
