Arrived on a Friday night and was seated immediately. The decor and atmosphere was great, but unfortunately the food left much to be desired. We ordered a variety of dishes: from chicken empanadas, the lomo saltado, the tallanes verdidas, yucca fries, the corn cake and octopus. The chicken empanadas and the tallanes were the stars, the yucca is good, but the octopus, lomo saltado, and corn cake were way too salty. The corn cake, which we learned was reheated/premade, we ultimately had to return.

I do appreciate the gesture to remake some of the dishes to be less salty, which they did with the lomo saltado, which improved the dish significantly.

The drinks are probably why people come here – we got the non-fashioned and the pisco punch. Good & what you would expect from either.

Finally, service was not really that attentive until we complained about the food. Wish they were otherwise more readily available (took us tracking down the waiter for several minutes before we were served.)

We had dinner with our son. They both had paella, and I had carnita (pictured). We shared empanadas. We also had dessert. I enjoyed my Frank Sinatra cocktail. Services was pleasant and helpful with suggestions.

Tasty Peruvian food in Petaluma!

Lomo salteado is a must, pollo empanadas are perfect and the chicha morada is good.

we had a group of 10 people and made an online reservation for 7:30pm several weeks before. they called morning of to confirm it, we said we’d be there. however, when we arrived, they tried to turn us away stating that the kitchen closes at 7:45. unbelievable that they would make a reservation for 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. when we were all sat, our server told us we had two minutes to decide and order drinks, appetizers, and main dishes. horrible customer service. food was amazing though.

Nice place, good drinks, octopus was chewy undercooked I think. The ceviche fish was a bit “fishy” honestly drinks were the best thing here. Good chill atmosphere. 260 plus tip for 3 ppl.

I will admit, we were sitting near a doorway and it was a little chilly, so if you’re going in winter, take a wrap. We had the scallops as an appetizer, and they were fabulous! We also shared a RISOTTO AJI AMARILLO Y MEDALLONES . The beef was so delicious and the risotto as well. We will absolutely be back and probably order exactly the same thing.

Definitely recommend this place!! The food was delicious! Very nice decor inside and outside. Lots of seating. My fav were the shrimp wontons with their dip. The empanadas were great too! The ayawaska mule was super tasty. The dessert was yummy, especially the churros. Parking out on street or free parking garage.

Great little spot right on the water in Petaluma. Good Peruvian food. Particularly enjoyed the selection of Ceviches. The drink menu was also rather involved – with a large collection of cocktails – both containing alcohol and not.

One thing that was odd was that the zero alcohol cocktails were the same price as regular cocktails ($15). With that said, they probably took equal time to prepare and showed a high level of complexity in terms of flavor.

Solid service from friendly staff – that was prompt and effective.

Setting is nice, with a great outdoor patio that allows dogs. Good views of a river running through town.

I’d go back.
