Really wonderful place. Extremely happy I stopped.
Food: exceptional. Got a breakfast plate with Mexican potato’s and scrambled eggs mixed with refried beans. Very very good. Crispy potatoes with other veggies and flavors mixed in. And I’ve never had eggs like that but it just worked wonderfully. Corn tortillas came out burning hot and soft. I’m usually a green salsa guy (and it was great) but the red salsa was super flavorful and just spicy enough. Also grabbed a burrito for the road which was shockingly big and kept me going through lunch and dinner.
Service: fast, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I doubt anyone has ever had a complaint.
Easy parking and nice atmosphere. Relaxing traditional Mexican music to set the scene.

10/10 would recommend to anymore who wants quality food at a reasonable price with excellent service.

My only regret is not buying a jar of salsa on the way out!

The lady there is okay. She gets you everything up front but once you run out of drinks you pretty much have to raise your hand like you’re in school to get more. Other than that the food is amazing real Mexican inspired dishes even with mole!!!!

If you go here to eat the angry burrito, be prepared for your gut to take a spicy beating. As an alternative, get a large burrito, order angry burrito sauce and pickled jalapenos on the side and enjoy.

I ordered a large carne asada burrito, added the toppings and savored the flavors. Lots of sweat will fall from your head and you might turn red from the first few bites, but if you can eat it all with no problem until you are on the toilet next, you are a champ!

Prices have changed, but they aren’t terrible, you are still getting a lot of food for under 20 bucks each person. Well worth enjoying over and over again.

Ordered the beef and bean enchiladas and the bean tostada and the beef and bean burrito. The burrito meat was spicier than the enchilada. The rice and beans were better than many that I’ve ever had but the margarita was a little sweet for my taste. If I would have had the rim salted, it could have helped that issue. That’s the only reason I gave it four stars..

The Huaraches and tacos were super delicious on my very first visit to this cozy little restaurant in East Moline. The service was super friendly and helpful and the kitchen was very quick at readying our order. I will definitely be going back to this establishment!

authentic yummy food. the moles are to die for. Breakfasts are awesome. My favorites are the soups , grilled chicken salad and the mole torta sandwich…not your typical Mexican. But they do typical items great too.

My wife and I had lunch here today with our son and daughter in law visiting from out of town. The food was excellent as always. The server must have been having a really bad day. She was somewhat detached and never really interacted with us, just taking our order. When we left, we left a tip on the table for her, and my wife put a tip in the jar for the cooks. She took that tip out of the jar and said, “That’s for the cooks”.
My wife then informed her that we knew that and had left her tip on the table. She had never put the $10.00 bill back in the cook’s tip jar while we were there.

My wife and I went into this restaurant due to having loved the it years ago. But we got 0 service the whole time we were there. We watched them blatantly ignore us. We never got refills. We had to ask for a box 4 times. They charged us nearly $20 for the 2 drinks on top of the food which was $30. They gave us the bill the moment they gave us the food and refused to serve us after, yet still served every other individual in the place. For service, it was pathetically bad.
