The food was not hot only just warm. I sent mine back but others in my group just lived with it. Restaurant area warm cold as well. We stood by fireplace to warm up as did everyone coming in. The gift shop was AMAZING as always

Cracker Barrel in Lakeville, MN was GREAT! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The food was tasty and well portioned. The gift shop staff were so helpful. My daughter wanted an item that was out of stock. The staff offered the display, which was in perfect condition. My daughter was so surprised and happy. Great job, guys. You were worth the visit!

Service was fine, we were told off the bat there was no fried chicken available today, had to return steak as it wasn’t well-done, loaded mashed potatoes were lukewarm because cheese on them wasn’t melted. The chicken & dumplings were awful & if the food wasn’t bad enough…there were flies on the window sill next to us & the one fly that was buzzing on this back ended up on table so we stopped eating. Never got refill on coffee or Diet coke. Been years since I’d been back & now remember why.

Visited on 7.4.2025. In the post-COVID era many Cracker Barrel locations have become another basic restaurant. However, this location is an exception! The food was Delicious, the dining area was clean, and the staff was superb. The Smokey Southern Chicken and Peach Cobbler were a perfect meal. Special KUDOS to my server, Cozette, who was Amazing, Awesome, Spectacular, and Outstanding!!

The welcoming was a bit not welcoming madee fell a bit weird, but maybe she was tired, and we are all humans. The service was amazing, and our waitress was so sweet and attentive, same with the rest of the staff. The entrance of the restaurant is a gift shop full of all kinds of nice things. The food was good , but the place itself seemed to be very crowded. The tables so close to each other and so loud it was a bit unpleasant. They do have outside tables, but it was hot , and the highway right there was also not that pleasant, but that is just me. Give it a try as you might find it different plus the service and the food is was you go there for to try.

This is a truly iconic place to be. Cracker Barrels are very consistent. They’re essentially the same carbon copy store from place to place.
You walk in and are greeted by an interesting and fully amusing gift shop of sorts, everything ranging from seasonal displays, whole gadgets, an entire candle assortment, some clothing, and my favorite: the candy/snack section. This place had a wide assortment of vintage soda (“pop” where I’m from”) for less than two dollars per bottle.
Once inside, you notice that this place has an actual live wooden fire in the hearth. The only of its kind in the restaurant business.
All around the walls, are conversation starters about vintage objects of America’s past.
Most iconic, arguably, is the “triangle peg game” that every table has next to its candle-lit lamp.
If you like southern cuisine and a taste of “old country America,” this place is worth a visit.

We went for a celebration for a birthday party. It wasn’t all that great. To be honest with you. I know cracker barrel was always known to have a portion or their food was portioned. Well the food was hot and I don’t know. Felt like a homely atmosphere but really not so much. Tonight it was cold. Food was cold and the service wasn’t all that great. So that’s that’s why the low rating happy holidays…

The food was great! The staff was super nice and it was SUPER busy. We got our food out in a timely manner and it was all exactly what we wanted and ordered. Loved the sodas in the shop and even got myself a cast iron skillet. 10/10 will go back again.

We were hesitant to try this Cracker Barrel location after a terrible experience last year at their location in Bellbrook, Ohio. They are all similar offering Southern-style comfort food and a nostalgic, country-themed dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised with the Lakeville location. We had an excellent waitress, Joselyn, who quickly took our order on a busy Sunday afternoon. She checked on us several times making sure we were satisfied. She had a very pleasant demeanor offering excellent service. Our food was very good from the entrees to all the sides. We ordered two Chicken Fried Steaks and two meatloaf dinners. Very delicious

Stellar service!! Great food and great service at this place. We were seated fairly quickly and our server informed us that the kitchen was swamped so they get us good as quick as possible. Love that honesty!
