Food was very good. Ironically, the thing I liked the most was this wonderful shot of butternut squash soup that they just dropped off for us to try.
The drinks were expensive, but the old fashion was likely one of the best I have ever had.
The food is very good, but a lot of what you are paying for is the presentation.
If you are accustomed to this type of restaurant it may not live up to what you are used too.
If you have neve been to this type of restaurant, you will likely not like it.
Still, I would recommend.
Clau was our server and she was excellent. She took great care of us, was very knowledgeable about the food and its sourcing, and you could tell she’s truly passionate about what she does. Every staff member we encountered took pride in their work.
The ambience was perfect for a celebration, the bathrooms were spotless, and the entire experience felt elevated and seamless. This is a perfect place for any special occasion. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!
The atmosphere is stunning—it manages to be both effortlessly elegant and warmly welcoming at the same time. You could easily lose track of time here, just soaking in the beautiful setting.
But the food is where they truly steal your heart. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and alive. You can tell the chefs pour passion into every plate. Each bite felt like a discovery—like they took familiar flavors and elevated them into something truly exciting.
What really set the evening apart, though, was the service. The team here isn’t just professional; they are genuinely kind. They were attentive in the perfect way, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask, and making us feel truly looked after. It was personalized and sincere.
There was a lot, but here are a few key missed:
1) the service was slow. we waited over an hour for our main courses.
2) they messed up on my order and served me pork, which I do not eat. While ordering the server assured me that he was “take care of it” and ensure the replacement for the pork would be excellent, only to wait and have my dish come out wrong. This caused us to wait even longer.
3) the environment was loud as they sat us next to the bar. There was also a time when the fire alarms were going off and the staff looked confused as to what they should do. No one spoke to us about this.
The food was tasty overall, but too expensive for what it was. The team tried to do service recovery and gave us a free desert, but it didn’t make up for the overall experience.
Price point is a little high at $225pp ( this is roughly what was spend after tip etc).
Decour and layout really needs help. It has the feel of a glorified hotel cafeteria thus ruining the price point even further.
Server was very kind and knowledgeable. If it wasnt for our server making suggestions this couldve easily fallen to a 3 star establishment.
Most of the food itself does deserve the michelin recomendation. While its a little bit aways from a star, i believe offering a prix fixe chefs table dining experience, and improving the decour (make it feel more saturated and less cafeteria/open) could earn this place a star down the road. If they keep doing what they’re doing my prediction is they will maintain or lose their recommendation at best.
Would I come back? No. Unless they earn a star there would be no reason to come back – the food is good but you can get similar for half the price.
For the time being its “BYEcan”
I arrived right when they opened, at 5:30pm for dinner. Two other tables got seated shortly after me. The red snapper is apparently their most popular main entree. I ordered it. It’s a heavy dish, and that curry is a mild to medium spice, it was so good! I also ordered the lobster tostadas. This is a lighter dish. I love that they added passion fruit to this! What a way to zest up this dish in an unexpected way.
They provided an amuse-bouche as well, which was a large shot glass full of a butternut squash soup with an orange flavored foam and some nutmeg sprinkled on top. Chefs kiss! This was so tasty. I kept taking small sips and swishing it around in my mouth to make sure I really got to enjoy the flavors.
I will be dining here again!
