Food was great, i totally recommend the Brussel sprouts and island salmon! our host was very accommodating when we ask for a different table and the music was really good. This place is not going to break the bank yet still very good, love the flower decor and the ambiance was lively. Food did not take too long, truly nothing bad to say.

I went here with some friends as a pre valentines day get together. I was excited to go because I wanted somewhere that looked liked nice and the food looked good. The place is very nice. I like the layout a lot. The flowers everywhere and the spots to take videos and pics were great. One issue was the stairs you have to walk down to get into the restaurant. It was a few and what about handicapped people. Now the service was good. The man was friendly and timely. We did the prefix menu for restaurant week so wasn’t much to choose from but we got appetizers, entrees and a dessert. The sliders I had were good but dry. They could have added a little more sauce. The chicken Parmesan was decent. The pasta was good but the chicken was tough and tasteless. Thank God for the cheese and sauce cause without it that chicken would have been a no. The fired oreo sundae was a let down. The fired oreos were so hard I couldn’t hardly eat them. The ice cream was good though. Drinks I can’t say because I don’t drink but I got a ginger ale and when the bill came it was 6 bucks. That’s insane. Our bill for 5 of us was $438 and that was work their tip which is an 18 percent gratuity. So that was a $69. Overall it a nice spot for a date but your date might be mad with the mediocre food.

Docks of 5th has a very nice aesthetic and is great for photos, but unfortunately the staff does not match the look or vibe of the space. Everyone seemed lost and unsure of what was going on.
An automatic 18% gratuity was added to all checks, which felt undeserved given the level of service. My drink was $28 made with house tequila and had virtually no alcohol in it. Bartender was pretty rude, and yelled the price as if he knew it was wrong what they were charging as well… We ordered appetizers, and after 45 minutes, no one returned to clear the table or even ask if we wanted to order entrées.
We were there celebrating a birthday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I honestly wish we had chosen another establishment. We left feeling very underwhelmed and will probably never return.

In the photo our guests are trying to clean the table ourself

Definitely an IG trap. The food was just ok nothing to write home about, the atmosphere was cool came around 6pm on a week night. Service was ok, was looking for waiter for a bit when it was time to pay and there weren’t many other ppl there at the time. I’d say for the prices and quality of the food you’d be better off finding another spot. I’d pass on this if you i want upscale with the food quality to match.

This place is really cute, for pictures. The food is good depending on what you get. Lamb chops and seafood linguine were great. Everything else mid at best. The service was ok. They brought the bill without us asking for it and while they knew we were taking pictures and not done with service they took one of our chairs, our queue to leave.

I recently visited DOCKS and had a great experience. The space itself is very pretty inside and definitely picture-worthy. It’s also super convenient to get to, just a 7–10 minute walk from Grand Central Terminal. I went on a Sunday, and the vibe was just right; there was a nice crowd, but it wasn’t noisy, so you could actually hold a conversation without shouting. The music added a nice touch and really set the atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious, though I will say it was on the expensive side. Still, the quality made it worth it. Overall, I would definitely go again; the combination of the ambiance, music, and food made it a memorable outing.

I recently visited Docks off 5th Ave on a Sunday afternoon, and I’m so glad I did! First off, the appearance is exactly as you see in pictures—gorgeous, stylish, and definitely a spot that feels tailor-made for Instagram. It’s a beautiful place to go if you’re looking to take cute pics, so definitely dress to impress! The crowd was light when I went, and the noise level was low, but I could see it getting more lively later on.
The service was excellent. Our waiter might have forgotten about us a few times, but honestly, it felt nice not to have someone hovering every minute. The front desk was welcoming, and the food came out quickly.
Now, let’s talk about the food. I had the salmon stuffed with crab meat, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. It was fresh, light, and super flavorful. I was really impressed. For drinks, we tried the margarita flight (which was spot on) and I had a “Smooth Sailing” cocktail, which was smooth indeed and definitely hit the spot. My friend got an espresso martini, which she loved, and we shared the dessert wheel, which was a highlight! Chocolate-covered strawberries, cheesecake, and fried Oreos—everything was delicious and satisfying.
Price-wise, it wasn’t cheap, but it wasn’t over the top either. Our total came to around $300, which felt fair for the experience, the quality of food, and the drinks.
The only complaint I had was the air quality—it felt a bit dry and the air conditioning seemed to be on low. But honestly, that’s a small issue compared to everything else. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
