It was suggested to us to stop here and glad we did. The Sonoran Turkey melts were served hot, good to warm you up. The beef soup was delicious. The service was very friendly and efficient. We took our pie to go, but based on the lunch, I’m sure it’ll be delightful.

We rode our motorcycles from Clifton to Alpine to have lunch. The Bear Wallow Cafe was the only place open. The service was fast and friendly. It was a little cold so the hot tea warmed my bones! We got the hot roast beef sandwich and chili cheese fries. Food was delicious and more than we could eat. There were quite a few folks who came in for pie and coffee….it must be really good pie. Wish we hadn’t too full to try it. we we ever visit Arizona again, we will definitely plan a trip back to the Bear Wallow Cafe!

Out sight seeing with a friend and we stopped here for lunch. This place is excellent! We all had the Cowboy Burger, the fries and onion rings were fantastic. The raspberry pie was superb and to die for!! This will be our lunch spot anytime we are in Alpine!
