The flavor combinations here are amazing. My daughter gets honey/lavender every time. I got one of their vegan options, hazelnut and cream, and I was shocked at how good it tasted. They do give out samples, which I tried their strawberry/balsamic ice cream and wished I could have that one. I’m not worried tho because I will have that one when I return. This time I had a stomach bug and opted to get non-dairy just to be safe.

I’m so glad we have a Salt & Straw location in Beaverton. They let you try samples of all the ice creams. They have regular flavors which are always available & monthly/limited flavors which are gone once they run out. It’s fun to try the new flavors each month & they usually match with the season (ex. chocolate flavors in February, pumpkin in October). Their waffle cones are made in-house and are delicious. I like to support them because they’re local.

1st time here. Cold and rainy Saturday night in october. Who knew itd be so busy. Super helpful staff. I think we sampled everything. The pear and blue cheese was interesting. I think pear alone would be super tasty. I opted for the melon and prosciutto. There’s pieces of meat in it but I could barely taste it. It was great.

Salt and Straw has always delivered no matter which location my wife and I have gone to. It’s been a staple for us since college days back in 2013. I’m glad they still have several original flavors and if you’ve never been I’d recommend the cinnamon snickerdoodle and chocolate gooey brownie double scoop in a waffle cone!

The Mona Lisa of ice cream – full stop. My wife and I stumbled upon the OG Salt & Straw several years ago while visiting family. I was presented with an Apple Pie and Wisconsin Cheddar ice cream. Weird, right? I thought so. Then it wrecked my mouth in so many delicious ways. Now we visit for their unique flavors anytime we’re in Portland or down in Disneyland.

I have been to this Salt & Straw location about a dozen times before, but this most recent visit was the best! Lucas was super friendly and generous with giving recommendations while my fiancée and I sampled about a half dozen flavors each. The Almond Brittle with Salted Ganache might just be their best flavor to date. Great service and the best ice cream in Portland – highly recommend!!!

Salt and Straw was a very interesting place and I was excited to go try it over the weekend. However, the staff overall were mediocre and I didnt feel the flavors were very special or tasted amazing. Maybe it was the day or place I went, but it left me unsatisfied. In the end, it was not absolutely horrible but could have been better.

Salt and Straw is great. The lines can be crazy long in the summer but honestly they keep it moving pretty fast. Like the fountain area outside. The icecream flavors range from very good to kinda crazy. Always nice to get a sample of the crazy ones just to experience it and they go to a more standard one as your actual scoop.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. You won’t find a better ice cream shop. Prices are about equal to other ice cream chains.
