Let’s start with the service. Absolutely terrible! Took forever to order and then we don’t get our food for nearly 40 minutes. We even had a server ask if we wanted our check and I was like check? We haven’t even gotten our food.
Then the food. Disgusting. Zero flavor, portions are kid size. I had the egg burger and fries. Once slice of bacon, no flavor to anything, burger was so small I was able to fold the bread in half and eat one slice.
My son had the wing, dry, no flavor and the bottom of the plate was so much grease.
My recommendation, find a better cook, hire real help and turn that place around because there is no way they are making a profit!
They then offered to give me my money back but then i’d be without the food so I stayed. A woman had to even to go back to the kitchen and prepare my food herself because it wasnt being done. When i finally got it home, the food we got was delicious, but they forgot one of our appetizers. When i tried calling them to ask for a refund on the appetizer it just rang and rang. Never had a bad experience here before but this was a waste of time.
However, has a dedicated older crowd that gathers for beers. Making the atmosphere very chill and relaxing. Just the bartender was on duty for a place with a lot of floor space. Might want to call ahead for larger groups.
Also! Place was CLEAN, which I didnt expect for such a hole in the wall bar experience. Plenty of fans circulating the air conditioning around.
Food? I settled on the Crunch-Munch Burger. A well-seasoned patty with an onion ring topper. Wasn’t bad for $13. Paired it with a draft beer and watched some horse racing.
Service was reasonable given only the bartender was on duty. She was very polite and checked on me just frequently enough to ensure my beer wasn’t empty & my food was prepared to my liking.
Not sure how the place would stand up when its super busy!
But for a quick lunch stop during the week?
Id say its a bit underrated.
Will visit again!
