Start off with wish we could do 1/2 stars as a 3 1/2.
Have been meaning to try this out so stopped by on a rainy day.
Was greeted pretty quickly and seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and service was fast.
Popcorn brought to the table when placing drink order.
For lunch we tried:
Brocolli Alfedo
Unmasked Burrito
Island Turkey Burger.
Brocolli Alfredo light portion was still a good size, my daughter ate almost half of it. Sauce was good and dish had good amount of broccoli.
Unmasked Burrito was a large portion. Flavor was nice with a little bit of spice. Toppings were on the side and recommend getting with the guacamole.
Island Burger with sweet potato fried was an appropriate size. Turkey patty was not dry and the sriracha mayo paired nicely with the pineapple. Fries were not overcooked but were nice and crispy, I don’t like the floppy ones.
Overall this place reminds me a bit of Chilis with a bit better service and food.
Will likely be back to try other things.

This use to be one of my favorite places to eat. Tis no more…My daughter ordered the Chicken Strip basket and it was more like would you like some chicken with your batter. The burger I had was mediocre at best and we were first served fries that were old. We did get new fries after I said something so that was a plus. The service was great so high marks there. In the end I can say I wont be returning.

I’ve gone here a handful of times and been sorely disappointed every time. Ordered the steak bites like the waitress recommended the first two times. They reminded me of something out of a microwave dinner. Then went with different types of burgers the next few times. The last one I had was a Club burger on a pretzel bun with coleslaw for $15 tax. They were smaller and I’ve had better at dives in the past. The service was average at best. The food was below average. For the price I could eat a legit restaurant. There’s a reason I haven’t come back in over 2 years and won’t again, and I’ve been in the industry my whole life.

A friend of mine and I were there Saturday night. It was pretty busy. It took a little bit for staff to wait on our table. After one waitress said she would be just little bit, it took a while to wait on us. We figured she probably got herself side tracked waiting on other tables- which is fine, no worries. Another waitress came to us and asked if we had been waited on and stated she would take care of us. She brought us some popcorn and took our order. It didn’t take long for our food to come to us. The food was delicious and filled our tummies. Friendly staff and great food! I look forward to eating there again!

Had a family diner here and due to the location to the nursing home family was able to walk from the nursing home to the restaurant. Food was good, I really enjoyed the Bison burger. Fries were standard, nothing special. We had a great server and wasn’t to busy on a Saturday afternoon.

We stopped in after a long weekend and could not have received better service! The gentleman who sat us engaged in a real conversation with my 5 yr old son discussing Pokemon, it made his day!! (Later in the meal, the same man stopped back by the table and gave my son a couple Pokemon cards – he is still talking about it). Our server was happy and helpful and did everything she could to accommodate our family. Food was good — on this trip service was definitely the thing that made our visit. Thank you to your staff for taking the time to make our dinner a great one.

It’s good food in a timely manner at a reasonable price. My daughter was unable to pull up coupon 50%/$20. She was pressed for time had to go. I mentioned to floor manager. And she honored it. So I double tipped waitress. Who was quick and attentive

I can’t imagine where the negative reviews are coming from. I ate two meals here last week and both were great. I had different staff and ordered different meals and I was more than satisfied on both occasions. Staff were very friendly and professional and the food was great. I really appreciated the convenience of the GR being next to the hotel I was staying in. If you are looking for friendly staff and good food, I would highly recommend the GR in Waconia.

Excellent burgers and French onion soup. Great waitress, Lauren. Awesome kid menu. Sang Happy Birthday and gave free dessert to my mother-in-law. Did not appreciate host/servers telling me carseat was fine in a highchair upside down. There are even warnings on the highchair not to do that, yet they were trying to talk me into it. Wouldn’t hurt to buy a few car seat slings made for that purpose.
