And then… there’s Lilly.
Lilly isn’t just an employee—she’s the heart, soul, and uncorked magic of Enoteca Sonoma. She could probably sell wine to a vineyard owner, and she somehow knows exactly what you need before you even realize it yourself. Need a pairing suggestion? She’s got it. Need a story about the wine that makes it taste even better? Done. Need someone to casually convince you to order another glass? She’s your girl.
Basically, Enoteca without Lilly would be like a wine glass without wine—functional, but missing the good stuff.
Five stars, two thumbs up, and a toast to Lilly for making every visit feel like the perfect pour.
When we tried to calmly address how that came across, he rolled his eyes and tried to rephrase what he had said, which only made the interaction more unprofessional. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying and left to eat elsewhere – where we were treated with the basic courtesy and respect every guest deserves.
With so many excellent restaurants in the area, Enoteca is not one I would ever recommend. No one should be made to feel like a burden for simply wanting to enjoy a meal.
