Coffee shop with a bohemian vibe serving pastry, soup, sandwiches & burgers off the grill.

While on a family vacation and not replanning anything we stumbled across this cafe and it was probably a highlight of the trip for me. I NEVER leave reviews but the food here was so good, plus the inside was gorgeous. I came in nauseous and lightheaded and asked for a side of fresh fruit and if i could get it before our meal. Our waitress brought it out so quick and I was very pleased it was not the typical honeydew mix most restaurants give, but had fresh raspberries, blueberries and orange slices. My toddler and I shared the waffle which somehow was the tastiest waffle I’ve ever had. We also had the best tomato soup we’ve ever tasted here. After our meal we ended up ordering coffee to go, a churro ice chai and the banana mocha and it was so good. I thought about this coffee all day after and how can I possibly recreate something after we go home. If I’m ever in the area again this is definitely a must go for me.

A hidden, delightful cafe experience in the OC area. The atmosphere and decor combined to create a relaxing dine in. The food was stunning and made for a delicious meal that we didn’t want to cut into! The flavors had depth and provided a welcome, comforting taste. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with the fried potatoes. The combination of the marinated chicken with the pesto created a well balanced bite. We all ended up getting coffee or tea during our stay. I enjoyed a hot Mayan mocha.
Overall a thoroughly pleasant afternoon at the Den Cafe.

The food was delicious! I got a red pepper, onion, and mushroom omelette/scramble with goat cheese and avocado crema, side of sourdough toast, and fresh fruit. Everything was fresh! The honeydew melon was super satisfying. They also make this amazing strawberry jam, in house, that pairs nicely with the toast or anything you want to dip into it. We will be back!

They have several vegan options and the Chai Latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was plentiful and fresh, and I appreciated that the dressing was on the side. Parking nearby appears to all require payment!

Unique bohemian style, so different from modern clean cut coffee shop. Friendly staff, many brunch selections and relaxing atmosphere. We came early in the morning so it was easy to find street parking. I ordered original latte, it tasted light and lean compared to other coffee shops. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We stopped by this place on a Sunday morning for brunch. They have very cute and aesthetic decorations inside, but it was also very nice to sit outside on a sunny day. The food came out very tasty. Definitely a place to for good coffee, good food and good time.

I love the den I’ve been coming here since I was about 7 years old when it was still the Gypsy Den. They have different variety of foods to try and they have great customer service.

While planning my trip to Santa Ana from Iowa, I Googled cool & unique cafes. Den Cafe was the first place I saw. I was instantly hooked & knew it would be my first stop. Took a LYFT from the airport & plopped myself down in a booth. I was soaking in the chill atmosphere, when I was greeted by the nicest server. She took my drink order right away. I continued to scan the yummy menu that offered many vegetarian & vegan options. I finally settled on the breakfast burrito. It came with your choice of 2 or 3 different proteins, but as a vegetarian, I passed. She offered avocado instead & I jumped on it! I was so busy taking in the cool & vintage decor, that I didn’t notice how long it took to be served. I feel like it wasn’t even 10 minutes, when I was served the best breakfast burrito of my entire life!! Along side it was the tastiest, crispiest, freshest, hottest, straight off the griddle home fries that ever graced a dinner plate! So much delicious food for the price! A different server walked by & asked how I was doing. She was just as nice & sincere as my server. They really cared about their customers. I also ordered the Mac & cheese to go & that too was delish!! Can’t wait to return!! Thank you!
