Drove in for lunch and was so pleased we found this place. The best clam chowder we ever had. Decided to get a take out of the clam chowder …sooo good. The Friday special 2pcs of fish and fries. Also delicious. My husband ordered Tuna Melt, and he confirmed it was good. I hope this is my first go-to place for lunch. Please keep it up, and we will be back for more….

5 stars all around. It’s a tavern sorry of in the middle of nowhere and somewhere, so I’m not expecting black tie service, and you shouldn’t either. What you will find is friendly service, pretty much every game being played on TVs all around the bar, and good food. I had a cheese burger, fries, and a beer, while watching the Ducks crush the Montana Cougars. The food was great, the game, not so much. I left happy, and the check was $20, so I really have nothing to complain about.

Food was delish, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by here, again, with that kind of service, or lack thereof. However, with as easy as it was to exit at Stafford Road from I-205 I would stop again if I was in the area.

Wow!! Where do I start off with this hidden gem in the neighborhood. Well great location. Easy parking. As soon as my wife and I entered we were both greeted, but hey it’s a tavern and so not expected. We sat ourselves right in the middle of the place and menu was already sitting on the table. Within 2 minutes a server came to the table to ask for drinks. My reason for coming was there sign in front about chicken. So when we ordered we ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy. Chicken cooked to a perfection. Breast meat. What caught me with this dish was how well seasoned it is. Atmosphere is a bit different and some colored people it may seem a turn off, but let me tell you. I felt welcomed, waitress came by and checked on us and the memorabilia that flooded this place is more than enough to visit again which my wife and I will come again. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the eggs perfect and also seasoned well. TV playing all the sports I needed to see that day. Not to loud. Great place overall. Would definitely come back.

New owners are horrendous. Used to park cars there for a couple hours no problem a spot where people could commune and enjoy each other’s company. Parked my car there for three hours, got towed for $500 fee. Disgraceful to the community.

Update: Returned after a few months and the Mac and cheese was back to the original…no more boxed noodles… Thank goodness!

One of my go to’s is the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese made with cavatappi noodles and white cheddar cheese (like home-made).
I add the grilled chicken on top.
Well….menu changed to boxed mac & cheese, so disappointing!!!!
The grilled chicken helped flavor but the noodles…..you know, wimpy noodles from a box.
Too bad!

The second and third photos are of previous mac and cheese orders with cavatappi noodles and real cheese.

Great neighborhood bar with large servings of bar food. We got the large nachos and tots and it was HUGE! Severs were quick and courteous. Nice place

Our first visit to Dubs Tavern did not disappoint. Our friends had recommended Dubs so we had to try it. Our server T was super sweet and helpful. Food was amazing and the drinks were on point. We experienced one small problem that was addressed appropriately. The beast burger and chili burger were so good! We will definitely be back!!

Delicious food I ordered a reuben and tore it up. Very nice and pretty waitresses. Highly recommend stopping in, great atmosphere.
