Had a terrible experience. I placed take out order that had one hour time. I got there a few minutes early. I got in the pick up line and waited over half an hour. The guy running things seemed overwhelmed . A few different times, he came out to the line and asked people their names and would ask a bunch of people, but didn’t write anything down he was trying to remember as he went to the back. After almost 30 minutes past my quoted pick up time I asked had my food been put in the oven yet and he said no. The frustrating part is had I got there and they said we’re running 1 to 2 hours behind quoted times no problem but waiting there for over 30 minutes and getting almost no acknowledgment and then me having to ask was it even in the oven, which it wasn’t, is frustrating. Did not get a gift card and don’t recall an apology. They refunded my purchase price after I asked them to cancel it.
There were a lot of people that seemed to be having the same experience and a lot of people were upset. Not just all the people waiting for so long in the pick up line but also the guests in the restaurant.
Would encourage management as people come in the pick up line to check them in and let them know honestly how far behind they are. I would have no issues at all if I walked in and they told me their running 1 to 2 hours behind and you have option to cancel your order, just don’t waste peoples time driving all the way there waiting for a long time just to find out they hadn’t even started the order.

Excellent restaurant, and underrated by the reviews. Been coming here since they opened, and they’ve always had consistent great service, very good food, and good atmosphere. My wife and I love the salads, and kids love the pizzas (Greenville Goddess is a unique favorite, and all are good) and bread sticks.
Personally I think the sauce could use a little more “umph” to my taste (unsure what type of tomatoes they use, and/or a little fresh basil and tiny amount of fresh garlic maybe?), but that’s a very minor nit-pick from this former New Yorker. I don’t expect Brooklyn or New Haven Pizza in the upstate, and this is one of the better pizzas in the upstate. The service is particularly what keeps us coming back.

Sidewall is a family favorite! Their gluten-free pizzas are insanely good – you can get virtually any pizza made on gluten-free crust! We’ve never had an issue with cross-contamination. They do a great job ensuring gluten-free eaters can enjoy their meal. The gluten-free breadsticks are a real treat, too! Save room for ice cream (my favorite is the vegan chocolate)!

Sidewall pizza had become a staple in our house hold! The mushroom pizza is out of this world! I tried the pesto antipasto pizza, and the flavors were great, however it is very heavy on the pesto, so if you like pesto this is a great option for your.
The server was very friendly and tended to our table perfectly.
The only fault I have with this location is the inside seating is tight quarters, it was way too cold and windy to set on their porch/patio and inside seating is cramped.

We are regulars at the Simpsonville on Main. We always order pizza with DOUBLE mushroom. Today we ordered our usual pizza and a wedge salad. There were mushrooms for a single order pizza. Major disappointment. The salad was not what we usually see. It was very small and the lettuce was not as fresh as it should be. I took a picture of it for reference.

My girlfriend has Celiac’s and we’ve tried sidewalk a couple of times now and she has gotten sick from the gluten free options every time.
While I think having gluten free options is very commendable, our experiences have led us to believe that Sidewall is not a Celiac friendly restaurant.
While I think the regular food, atmosphere, and staff are great, I think there are better options out there for people with Celiac’s disease, specifically Coastal Crust & Trios.
Disappointing to spend $70 and still get sick from the food.

We normally have a good experience with Sidewall but it has gone majorly down hill. We ordered take out and the crunchy chickpeas on the house salad were stale, old and not crunchy at all. They give one ramekin of dressing for a salad with a ton of lettuce in the large salad so you can’t even taste it. We got a text notification that our order was ready at 6:45. We live approximately two blocks from the Simpsonville location. Our pizza was delivered cold at 7:30. A 45-minute time frame when we live a one minute drive. The delivery guy didn’t have the pizzas in a hot box but the delivery took an hour and ten minutes so we just reheated the pizza. Nothing about this experience or the food was good. They used to be very consistent.

This place was very comfortable and had great service. The hot, fresh bread sticks were absolutely delicious! We ordered a cheese, pepperoni, and blondie pizza. All were very good and had thin crust. The restaurant is very open so it’s nice to sit in the ‘outside’ area. The waitress was very attentive and was always there to top up our drinks.

A great pizza place with friendly service and a nice open and airy feel. Has a nice downtown vibe with being on main street. The pizzas have a nice crunchy crust with a chew which reminds me of New Jersey style pizza. The toppings are varied and the salads are substantial and add some vegetables to your meal. Highly recommend the margherita that is simple with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil.

Creative pizzas with a lot of flavor. Great options for anyone looking to have a higher end pizza experience. Pizzas average around $20 a pie but are perfect for 2-3 people. Sign up for the rewards, free pizza on your birthday, 50% off on your half birthday.
