We recently went to Luce in Novi — the former Andiamo location — and it absolutely did not disappoint. If you were a fan of Andiamo, you’ll feel right at home here. The menu is very similar, and from what I understand, one of the owners is also connected to Andiamo, which makes a lot of sense once you experience it.
The food quality was right on par with what we remembered — classic Italian dishes done well, generous portions, and rich, authentic flavors. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It’s clear they’ve kept the standards high.
The atmosphere was just as good as it used to be — warm, inviting, and perfect for either a nice dinner out or a more celebratory evening. The ambience really adds to the experience. Service was solid, and the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Overall, Luce feels like a seamless continuation of what people loved about Andiamo. Great food, great service, and a great vibe. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I made reservations for Valentines Day for an early dinner. We were seated at a booth with a window. The white table cloth was quite wrinkled, the window was fogged up and dirty( sun was shining), and I couldn’t help but notice the top of the booth seats needed to be cleaned. The bathrooms needed a good cleaning as well. Our entrees were ok. We had the salmon and lasagna entrees, but our Michigan salad, which we usually like, was sparse and had too much of the dried cherries in it, which over powered the combined ingredients. My Olive martini had a tinge of a sweet & sour taste. Something wasn’t right with that. The Tiramisu was good.

It was not busy the time we were there, so it just seemed they were not well prepared for the start of the evening. They added 20% gratuity to our bill and then the sales tax. We didn’t appreciate that. Being relaxed after our meal, my husband accidentally wrote in a tip, I quickly corrected after hearing the total. I wasn’t going to ask, but glad I did.
Overall the restaurant needs major updates, and cleaning for its upscale menu prices.

I think I found my new favorite restaurant. From the very beginning, the staff was attentive, polite, humorous, and very accommodating. The menu have a great selection. My husband ordered a fillet, which was done perfectly and I have the lobster pasta, which was excellent. I hope people go there and give this restaurant a chance they won’t be disappointed.

LUCE in Livonia is a great place to eat. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is really nice and welcoming. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal.
