We have been recognized many times for our delicious and consistent food, making us a popular favorite in our area. We are very proud and grateful to have a wonderful, loyal base of customers. Waynes Pizza is the oldest and longest running restaurant in Third Lake. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to serve the residents of our town (and surrounding) for almost 35 years. Our drive for providing quality products and service coupled with our passion for preserving Wayne’s legacy is what gives us the reputation we have today.

Excellent pizza, our new local favorite. We had a thin crust sausage & pepperoni, carry out. Plenty of real cheese, and the sauce and spices were absolutely perfect. Good crust, a real thin crust pizza. Our pizza had plenty of meat on it, thats been one of our biggest complaints with every other pizzeria in our area, people being stingy with the sausage. So it was great to get this pizza from Wayne’s, a pizza the way a pizza should be. None of the bs that we got from other places. It was great!!!

This past late March marked the very 1st time (I know, right?!) trying Wayne’s and was very pleased with this taste.
I read a local news article a couple of years ago about the best pizza joint in the Grayslake area and came to my surprise that it wasn’t Bill’s Pub North but indeed Wayne’s.
Since then I guess it was just a matter of timing of when I could finally stop in but then again I’m a foodie and I’m always looking for that next pizza, burger, gyros venue, etc.
I must say the food in general is really good here and especially their pizza. Even after sitting in a warmer for quite a few minutes, those single slices still taste awesome.
I think the next time I bring my family here, we’ll try traditional pizza dining and order a whole pie fresh outta the oven. This local gem is a real treat for the residents of Third Lake/Grayslake area.
Definitely some of the most delicious pizza in Lake County and well worth a stop in for those pizza connoisseurs who haven’t tried yet, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by Jay’s Comics and while the hubby was looking through the comic books, my son and I stopped for a bit at Wayne’s.
It smells amazing when you walk in!
Got 3 slices of pizza and a soda. It came to about $12.
My son loved his slice of deep dish. I really enjoyed my thin crust slice, it’s a bit salty though. Will definitely stop by again to try other items on the menu next time we are in the area.

Got a large pan pizza with sausage, green peppers, mushroom, and black olives. It was delicious!! I’m from the area, but have been away for 2 decades and have made my way back and exploring new places. Silo deep dish has ALWAYS been my go to when visiting, but I’m pleasantly surprised with this pizza! The toppings were ample, the crust buttery and perfect, the service – great! I will definitely be back!

We come here a lot and we’re disappointed to see our pizza burnt when we got home. They usually always show you your pizza before you leave and they didn’t tonight likely trying to hide the fact that it was burnt. Closed now so nothing we can do. Bummer.

Wayne’s Pizza is a great place to grab a super fast lunch! 2 slices and a soda for $5.80. Their breakfast pizza is really good too! They have an old school ice cream shop on the side too, give them a try!

But their prices have gotten way out of control.

I don’t accept your excuse, because your competitors sell way bigger pizzas that are maybe not as good as yours but are similar for a fraction of the price.
Over 20 dollars for a 12 inch 1 topping pizza is egregious. The Wayne’s, RIP, would disagree with what you charge.
