This location disappoints me most times I come. I ordered blackened white fish and my fish looks like there’s no seasoning. I had to add seasoning on my fish bc it honestly taste unseasoned. Yesterday I order a cheesesteak for lunch, there was rarely any meat on my sandwich most of it was all bun. I also paid for bacon cheese fries and they didn’t add cheese. Whenever I order a fish plate they never give me the proper amount of rice. I have photos attached to show what I always seem to get. I had to stop tipping because I’m always disappointed. Out of all times I’ve been there I counted 3x my order was made right. When ordering out they give you less than they would if you dine in at the same price. Not happy about this at all. I didn’t take a photo of my cheesesteak yesterday but I also attached a photo of the salmon meal I purchased with broccoli and fries. I eat my fries on my way home, I did not notice the rice until I got home. This happens often. Also my broccoli isn’t cooked. Sometimes I get cooked broccoli sometimes it’s thrown in raw.

First time here, service was slow but servers were friendly. No one told us we could of ordered on the tablet til the server said to hand her tablet so she could order the spinach dip with chips and salsa. Spinach dip was good but biscuits were a little too sweet. Kids meal burger didn’t look like it was even hot cuz the cheese didn’t melt so my daughter didn’t even eat it. My nephew said the mashed potatoes were ok. Not sure it’s worth returning

Tried this restaurant with a group of friends while we were on a long weekend trip to San Antonio ♀️. The wait time after check-in was about 10–20 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all ⏳ . We waited a bit for a server, but the kiosk/tablet at the table made ordering super easy ✅, so everyone got to try different dishes.
They started us off with hot butter croissants —absolutely delicious and a great way to kick things off. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrappers , which were just okay, and the Grilled Chicken Alfredo Pasta , which was pretty good and comforting.
My friends tried the Key West Chicken & Shrimp and the veggie plate , and they said those were okay as well. Another standout at our table was the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie —definitely a solid choice!
To wrap up, we ordered the Hot Fudge Sundae , but unfortunately it wasn’t hot at all. We had to let the staff know, and when it came back, it seemed like the plate itself had just been microwaved ️ rather than the sundae actually being fixed. That part was pretty disappointing and not the best way to end the meal .
Overall, a nice spot to stop by with friends, good variety on the menu, and a relaxed dining experience ️.

I came in here a few months ago and my review was not good as I said “For a restaurant that bills itself as everything freshly made, I’m not impressed. Fish was undercooked and slimy in the middle and salad was definitely NOT fresh and had brown lettuce.
Returned 11/19/25 to try same plate of fish, and it wasn’t much better it was barely cooked and it was supposed to be blackened but it was under cooked and served on a bed of cold wet white rice that had no salt and no flavor. Without liberal salt and pepper, everything was tastless. I got the sweet baby carrots which were not sweet, but mushy and almost cold so I did not eat them and I got the southern green beans which were also barely room temp so I didn’t not eat those either. Instead I just packed it all up to go home and put in the oven tonight for dinner so I can actually have a hot meal from Cheddar’s. Bartender told the kitchen I was not happy with the food and absolutely no one came to find out why or to ask if I wanted a replacement meal. The bartender did offer to get me some fresh veggies but if he has to ask I’m never going to accept. It should have been brought out or replaced automatically and then not expect me to be the one to be the bad guy like I’m requesting something I didn’t pay for. Which I’m not because I pay full price for my meals even when I don’t like it or I’m unhappy with it so that way I have the right to complain if it’s bad which it was again. And I noticed that other people had made comments and reviews that were fairly decent and the restaurant was all over those reviews thanking them for the reviews but no one apologized for my first original bad review and I don’t assume they’re going to comment on this second bad review. There won’t be a third time. This place used to be the bomb and now it’s more like it’s been bombed by corporate greed and no longer fresh food but probably corporate Frozen packaging that sent to All The Same restaurants.

Listen. There are caveats to this 5-star review, but bottom line, this place has phenomenal value. I ordered a chicken sandwich from the lunch menu and it was only $8.79.

Like what?? I went to Sonic a couple weeks ago and ordered a cheeseburger with tots and a drink and it was like $13 and change. And that took them 4 mins to bag and it was mediocre at best. Now you’re telling me that I can go get a seat at an actual restaurant and order a chicken sandwich the size of a softball with fries and a free butter croissant for only $8.79?!? Not to mention like 6 other lunch specials that all sounded good even though I skipped breakfast and may have been a little biased.
Oh and then there is a bar with all day every day happy hour and $2.99 bud light 16 oz drafts? And $4 23 oz drafts? And $6 margaritas? Where am I, 2011??
The chicken sandwich was pretty good and the service was average, but everything else is definitely worth another visit or five.
Also asked for a side of lemon with the water and we literally got an entire lemon.

Pretty busy when we went but we still received good service from the bar area. I ordered the ribs & they were delicious & tender!!! The green beans tasted like they had sugar in them, I didnt care for them.

The food is decent, hit or miss. They do kick things off right with a complimentary croissant to start – nice touch! The steak isn’t bad, especially when you factor in the tasty garlic butter sauce they serve with it. Price-wise, it’s reasonable. However, my experience was somewhat dampened by the fact that the AC seemed to be on the fritz, making it sweltering hot inside. Maybe it was just an off day, but worth keeping in mind for future visits.

Stefan is one of my favorite characters on Family Matters haha. He’s so suave and cool. Much like our server Stefan!!! He made my mother in laws birthday special. He was attentive and pleasant. Thanks for the 5 star service!
