Service is always fine. Portions have definitely gotten smaller. Two chunks fit in one of the spots for a side. In my opinion, its just not worth the amount for chicken chunks(almost nuggets because of the size), and instant mashed potatoes and gravy. And my roll? Tiny and hard as a rock. The east side has better food, but this was near me.

Drive thru speaker is broken with no sign so I sat there for 5 minutes before I pulled up to the window.
Asked for extra ranch but got zero so I had to go back in and get some.
Chicken was tough and stringy, potato wedges tasted reheated, ranch was watery and gross.
They don’t sell Chicken Snacks like every other Charlie’s, so you have to order a dinner with 2 sides.
Would not recommend.

First time trying Charlie’s Fried Chicken and we will definitely stop back in next time passing through town. Service was great and made some suggestions on our side choices. All three of us had bone in chicken dinners. Chicken was hot, juicy and very flavorful. The crust was delicious! It is thick, lightly crispy and well seasoned. Best sides were the potato wedges and the mac and cheese as suggested by the cashier. The scallop potatoes were just ok. I wish I could have tried the fresh hot rolls, but our son stole mine and devoured it in seconds. He said “Dad, this place is a 10 out of 10!”. Portions sizes are huge! You get a lot of food for your money and the prices are already much lower compared to other chicken places.

The last couple of times that I went the food has been old and cold or hard and chewy. My potatoes had a funny aftertaste and the gravy was separated. I was sad because usually they’re way better than the checotah location. Also they totallyshould get corn nuggets I would order them every time I came! But sadly the last two times that I’ve went for I was disappointed and this time I even gave my plate to my dog. I already had two out of three of my chicken chunks spicy because they were out of regular for one of our meals. I went ahead and just went with the spicy and it was dried and hard to chew. But at least Tesla got to eat

This chicken was amazing. We also had peach cobbler and apple pie. I recommend this place to anybody and I would like to say that the staff on Sunday at 5:00 are some of the hardest kitchen workers I have ever seen in my life.

Charlie’s is hands down, the best fried chicken one can get this side of Springdale, Arkansas. (anybody who gets that has eaten at Neal’s). Even though there are Charlie’s in other communities, they are still locally owned, not a corporate chain. So win – win. Get the best chicken. Support local restaurants. Toss in the reasonable prices and you get win – win – win. Can’t beat that.

Quick food. It’s not the freshest. They seem to cook everything ahead of time so that’s likely why it’s so quick. Sometimes the chicken is juicy other times it’s dry & tough. The frying oil isnt changed as often as it should be either. I can taste it. It will suffice to quell hunger when you cant get any other food in a pinch.
