Good food, decent portion, attentive staff, the family enjoyed. This place is right next to Assi Plaza. This used to be under a different name, but maybe its a new owner. They have transformed the place, now it looks more spacious without the divider in the middle. I like it better than last. The price is decent as well.

We tried spicy seafood noodle today and it was very tasty with good portion. The interior decoration and seating have improved and the services were nice. We will definitely revisit to try other menu choice.

We visited today and there was a little paper saying 3-4 pm break time. I saw their opening ads., and wanted to try. I won’t revisit for a time being. You can’t announce an opening without your daily break time in your ads. Our trip was in vain. Very disappointing!

We visited the second Joong Gil Jib (중국집) location, which recently opened at Assi Plaza in Suwanee. Its convenient location makes it accessible for those living nearby. We ordered 쟁반 짜장 for two, 탕수육, and a few other dishes. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, though the 쟁반 짜장 fell short of our expectations. Initially, we considered ordering 짜장면 to-go but ultimately decided against it. The service was friendly, and the staff made an effort to ensure we were comfortable. However, the ambiance was average and didn’t particularly stand out. While it was a decent dining experience, there’s room for improvement in both the food quality and overall atmosphere.

Compared to the Duluth location, this branch feels a bit cramped, and the flavors didn’t quite meet my expectations. Perhaps it was because we visited during a busy time, but the food was somewhat disappointing and fell short of what I had hoped for.
The server seemed very busy and a little overwhelmed, which made the atmosphere feel somewhat chaotic at times. While it wasn’t a major issue, it did affect the overall dining experience.
That said, the food and service were generally satisfactory, but there’s still room for improvement to reach a 5-star level.

Great Korean style Chinese food – best Jjambong in town! Made obviously by the chef who made Zoong Guk Jib on Peachtree Industrial, same great Jjambong, same great other dishes.
We also love the Tangsuyuk and the Yangjangpi. I’ve also tried every style of Jjambong and they are all awesome.
This second restaurant is more of a quick eat and go, and it was a great experience with great service. Enjoy!

A new place that opened in Assi Plaza!
We loved everything except the taste wasn’t as great as we expected. It was good but I was expecting better. The food did come out fast. The service was great. We recommend coming right as they open at 4pm because no one was there and it’s very new. The bathroom is the best. It’s so clean and modern. I love how the place brings huge portions for the price. I would say the place has a nice atmosphere too!

The Jjajjangmyun and Jjampong were both so good. I don’t love chinese korean food but they do such a great job. I recommend dining in versus to-go because it tastes so much more fresher. The workers were so quick and efficient. I would definitely come back again.

Ive yet to find a good Jjamppong place but so happy for Zoong Guk Jib to come close to my area! Now I can visit more often for their amazing Ttang su Yuk and Jjamppong. Ive always ordered Jja Jjang Myun for carry out but tastes wayyy better dining in. Closely Authentic to true Korean taste. Jja Jjang Myun for $8 is a deal!!!!
