Me and my mama had lunch we do this everytime we come to Gainesville Florida this one on archer road
I get the meal of chicken and dumplings and 3 different sides
But I get the chicken and dumplings with the 3 sides and my 3 sides are
2 orders of dumplings
and the 3rd is the fried okra
My mama ordered the
meatloaf with 2 sides
And the sides are mashed potatoes and gravy on the side and the carrots
And off the rip we had to ask for biscuits r cornbread and so she only brought us biscuits
And my dumplings had no juice on them
And also she didn’t ever take him to heat
I’m so grateful for the my family the one that God gave me
Coz I’ve never been told to outta to take an item outta the buggy

I recently dined at this establishment with my spouse and ordered a steak accompanied by a baked potato. Regrettably, the steak was prepared medium well rather than the medium rare I had requested, which affected both the texture and overall flavor of the dish. Additionally, the extra bacon, served in a small ramekin, was noticeably undercooked. While such preparation may be acceptable as part of a breakfast entrée, it was not well-suited for a dinner setting.
Although the service and environment were satisfactory, the inconsistencies in food preparation detracted from the dining experience. At least at this location, I would be hesitant to recommend it for a casual dinner.

We stopped in for a quick bite and ordered the chicken dumplings and country chicken—both were absolutely delicious! Crunchy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
Our server was great—friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated.
However, the experience was dampened by how long it took to get our food. It took 25 minutes even though the place wasn’t busy, and we were hoping to get back on the road to Tennessee—not ideal when you’re not dining for leisure.
Also, the cleanliness of the restrooms really needs attention. The women’s restroom had pee all over the floor and a strong odor, and my boyfriend said the men’s wasn’t any better.
Great food and service, but the speed and hygiene definitely need improvement.

Went to Cracker Barrel in Lake City for dinner tonight an early dinner our waitress landed up being switched out for whatever reason and we landed up with a young lady named Jasmine and I want to say she was so amazing so professional. We didn’t have to wait on anything everything We needed it was brought to us in a timely manner. This young lady is very polite and is a Great addition to this Cracker Barrel . We will definitely ask for her next time. Thank you, Cracker Barrel for hiring an amazing young lady to wait on your customers And give such great service. And thank you Jasmine for giving us the great service that you did. We really appreciate you and look forward to our next meal there. Thanks again.

My husband and I had a great dinner at Cracker Barrel in Lake City tonight. I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and a salad., And my husband had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Everything was cooked in a timely manner tasted it delicious well seasoned the waitress(Sarah Thompson ) was so friendly and tentative to our needs making sure we had plenty of sweet tea and regular Coke. Our glasses never got below half full before she was happy to fill them. The manager Jeannette Young stopped at our table to make sure everything was going well and was super sweet and friendly. I recommend to anyone looking for a good home style family meal and a great environment stopped by the Lake City Cracker Barrel.

We had such a great meal! Our waitress Rachel was super attentive and even gave us a cloth to wipe up our baby girl before our meal. The steak was delicious and the shepherd’s pie was hearty and filling. The prices are reasonable and the servings are plenty. We’ll come again for sure.

The food was not over cooked. It was the correct temperature and the biscuits were fresh!
The floors were clean!

I came in to eat breakfast this weekend with a party of 6. I haven’t been in a Cracker Barrel in a long time. I will definitely be back and it’s mostly because of our server Jinny. She was amazing! The food was good, but it took a little time. She kept our drinks full, brought us biscuits to snack on, and kept us entertained with funny stories. She was knowledgeable about the menu, kind to my elderly parents, sweet and helpful. She even brought us ketchup without us asking for my dad’s burger. She needs an extra star, 4 isn’t enough. You have a gem!

Ole reliable. Food was hot and delicious, steak and eggs perfectly prepared and served fast and hot. My Wife had pancakes and bacon also perfect. This location never let’s you down, great staff always smiling, its a pleasure to visit every time.
