Pizza was OK. Pasta was terrible and expensive for the quality/portions. Ordered cacio e pepe pasta. There was no cream and all ground pepper. Very spicy and not how cacio e pepe should be. I had to throw it out.

Stopped in for lunch at Red Rocks Pizza in Alexandria. The place was clean (it did smell strongly of bleach, but I guess that means they keep things sanitized). The signal inside was terrible, so I had to ask for the WiFi password. Service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the pizza itself was disappointing, it came out surprisingly cold, the sauce was watery, and the cheese was a bit chewy. Overall, good service but the food missed the mark.

Our family went to Red Rock for years and loved it. Vibrant atmosphere. Excellent food and service. This is our second visit in recent years and sadly, it’s not the same under new management. Pizza is delicious, but service was horrible. They messed up my pizza order twice. My husband’s pizza came out 30 mins late. No apologies. Server avoided us after the mix up, so we had to call out to her to get any attention. No manager checked in after we waited a long time to eat. For as good as the pizza was, we walked out with just a bad experience. We won’t come back. We are truly saddened.

A very pleasant surprise in Old Town! The pizza was truly “Neapolitan” style, very thin and soft base and cooked to perfection! The staff and service was excellent. I also admired the old world atmosphere, which was appropriately decorated…and a well stocked bar.

The food itself- well charged me $15 for asking for gluten free bread with my spinach/ artichoke dip appetizer. The bread was not a real bread, was pita bread and hard to scoop into the spinach/ artichoke dip.
Will never order food for them again. A real rip off!

The pizza and pasta were both great. Nice restaurant for a large group. Communication with our server was difficult. No non alcoholic drinks listed on their menu and our server couldn’t understand us when we asked her if they offered any. Bummer for my NA husband, especially in a large group setting.

We ordered the meatballs as an app, and they were good served with slices of bread to dip into the sauce. We got the goat cheese and mushroom pizza and a arugula type of pizza. Both were really good and crispy. I like goat cheese but I’m not sure I like it on pizza due to its sweet flavor, but this was ok. If you like it this may be a good pie for you.
They have some outdoor street side seating which is nice on a cool night like we came on.

Great food, drinks, and service! This restaurant is perfect for Happy Hour, date night, and lunch. The pizza is good and offers a flavorful taste and thin crest. However, the most popular food items are breakfast! Trust me, their breakfast sandwiches are really good. The location is also perfect for seeing the sites of Old Town as well as King St.

Wow! Fantastic pizza! Great crust, with a fresh/bright sauce, and excellent mozzarella cheese — everything was just done perfectly! Friendly staff and great location; overall, really impressed! I would definitely recommend RedRocks to others and will plan to visit again, when in Alexandria.

In general, this was a so-so experience. I think the cost was a lot more than deserved, considering the quality of food I received. The garlic knots didn’t taste like garlic at all, and the same could be said for the pomodoro pizza. The kids pizzas were both good and had more flavor than the adult one I got.
